It’s small enough and light enough to fit in my suitcase. As someone who travels, it’s hard to have a warm lunch that fits in my diet budget. I can take my diet food, plug it in in the morning, and voila-hot lunch.

It may be an isolated case.Among the 3 pieces I bought, 1 of them I had issue. A huge piece of the plastic base where I have to ring the wire around is cracked and broken

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received one of these about 4-5 years ago as a gift from a family member. At first I was a little hesitant to use it, but after using it just once I now use it all the time. I mainly use it to heat up my soups, gumbo, or any other rice dish that I might be taking for lunch. Because I use it all the time and my coworkers ask about it, I decided to buy 3 more as gifts this year.
It isn't a huge size, but that's okay as it is just big enough for a lunch-size portion. It heats up my soups better than sticking a bowl or container in the microwave. What I like about it is that it heats everything evenly without bowling over in the microwave.
