disappointing adapter

I bought the Hyper-drive with my new 2019 MacBook Pro and the connection is not very secure also it prevents the computer from closing fully. It has great ports but it doesn't stay plugged in securely. I will probably return it.

Strongly recommended. Just one blemish: it doesn't have a perfect grip to the computer (maybe a magnet would let the tool be more stable when you connect and disconnect all the cables)

I would give this 5 stars, but with the magnetic "FIller plate" attached, the Hyperdrive must be VERY firmly seated to make sure monitor is working.

I’ve only had this for a week, but so far it gets 5 stars on all fronts, looks, functionality, and ports.
I personally wish I’d gotten a slightly larger model..more in the way of ports is always better. This is going to do the job though.

Flimsy and cannot close MBP 2019 case without risking damage to laptop screen

I was hoping for a more robust-feeling hub than this one. It's made of aluminum but is paper thin and does not 'snap' into the thunderbolt ports like my wife's hub of a different brand. Overall, it works fine. Hope it lasts.
