Disappointing

The design and execution of the device is well done, however if your laptop is not connected to a power supply, will drain your battery extremely fast! I have used it only to hook up an HDMI cable to a TV for 1 hour and it drained over 35% of the battery and my MacBook Pro is brand new! For such an expensive item and from all of the reviews I expected it to be much better. The battery drainage poses a major issue if you are mobile and cannot connect to a power supply and this is the main reason why I would avoid this.

Learning to use

It’s sleek and plugs into my new Apple MacBook Pro. If I close my screen, the Hyper won’t allow the screen to close completely. Also I wish it had more USB ports. You have to push the Hyper in tight and when you place a charging cord it won’t charge if not tight.

Great fit for my Mac with the ports I need, when I need them. I was surprised to find I can't close the lid with the magnetic strip on the hub.

Heats up too much

The design was sleek (which made me bought the product in the first place), however, upon using it, I observed how it heats up too much to the point that it drains my mac m1 battery really quickly. It was really disappointing knowing how much I spent for this product (shipping and import costs)

Expensive compared to the competition

For the price finishing could be better.
It doesn’t fit snug and the color finish isn’t the same tone as the MacBook (space gray).
