Book 6 Pro

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Book 6 for my college courses. There are so many features I'm still finding out new things 6 months later! The speed and data capability is much smoother that I wished for. The phone link feature is my favorite thing. Definitely will be keeping this for a long time!

Disapointed, mic broken.

Tha laptop feels very nice, I loke it alot exept for some serious problems. (fyi, I recieved 700$($) off, student discount.)
The good:
The build quality is fantastic and I think it looks pretty good, a little boring but good at the same time, I love the two tone keyboard.
The speakers fire upwards so even if you have it sitting on a couch or bed it doesnt get muffled. The speakers are definetly not the best, I had a R(R)OG G14 for 2 years and a zenbook for almost 2 months which both had better speakers but these are decent and good enough for me. (I returned the Zenbook for this hoping for better longterm reliability... Samsung!)
Using this laptop is definitely nicer than my prevous ASUS one mentioned above, this feels snapier and more optimized and refined, I also do not have to mess around with setting nearly as much.
Performance, I am very happy with the performance overall especially while being good on battery life. (Exept in games sometimes, it plays well but occasionaly there are sudden lag spikes, at least in Overwatch.)
The fans are very quiet, though I sometimes hear a weird sound coming from them, like a hair got sucked up or something, idk.
Trackpad is nice and smooth, it is my first haptic and I like it very much, the feedback is nice.
The backlight is dim, and I really like that, I have no use for it unless it is super dark in whick case you dont want a keyboard backlight that will blind you like my ASUS ones did. I use the 60%% brightness which I think is perfect, thought I find that the automatic backlight control turns it on too early, it is bright currently and the backlight is on, I also do not know haw to turn it off, the Samsung settings gives very little control of it. I cant find a windows setting for it either.
There is a second storage slot inside so that you can easily increas the storage wich I love and the preinstalled one is swappable aswell.

The bad:
First of all, the microphones on mine do not work whatsoever and support is an absolute mess to navigate.
Secondly the battry life is not as much as I would have expected, its definately not bad but I expected better. Currently I use Microsoft Edge with a whole bunch af tabs open and switching between them doing work for college, im am getting around 8 or a little more hours from 80% charge. I have charge limited to 80%.
Thirdly, I have encountered compatability issues. In solidworks there is a ram problem which I am currently trying to work out with them but I have not had this issue with any of my other computers (aka non Intel computers). Maybe this will become better as time goes on, I have the x7 358H with B390 iGPU. Finding information on the iGPU with things like task manager or other tools for something like it's temps is very hard. Alot of the information is missing.
Sometimes it types two of the same character even though I am pretty sure I am only pressing the key once. I have enclosed some examples in here enclosed in perentheses. Like the second "R" in RROG up above.
The ram usage is obsured, when idle, not doing anything, 16gb of 32gb is being used, all the samsung apps dont help. I am absolutely ware that this is not absolutely Samsungs fault, windows kinda sucks. This does not help the Ram issue I have with solidworks.
Some samsung apps I do not like. Camera share does not seem to do anything and bixby is not very good, it is already a copilot pc just us copilot if you must or "click to do" (windows+trackpad click). And even when I close the apps and turn off run on startup they still open, specifically storage share and nearby devices.
I(I) miss the arrow keys frequently, I would have liked the left and right arrow keys to have been full sized.
The temp of the CPU will jump to over 90C.
The second screen app is extremely laggy and slow, I wish I could use it over wire.
The ports is a bit low, not bad, but it could have had maybe one more usbc on the right maybe.
I like the thinsess but it is not reasuring for temps and durability, a laptop only needs to be so thin, there is a point where it becomes to much and is more of an issue than a feature. There is something nice having a chunkier laptop. Like 3mm thicker?

Response from Samsung USBy R&R Team, September 22, 2026
Aloha Alex,
Thanks for reaching out to share your sentiments with us regarding your recent experience using the Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro. Your feedback is appreciated as we continue to improve our product line to best align with the needs of our customer base. Whether you're using a built-in microphone or one that's connected externally, there are multiple volume controls and potential places where the microphone might be muted. You'll need to check them all if your microphone isn't working. If the battery just doesn't feel like it lasts that long anymore, don't lose hope. A function called Smart Battery Calibration can help reset your battery's performance and recalibrate its minimum and maximum charge so you can keep using it to its current maximum capacity. For your convenience, I have included links to resources that you may find helpful in resolving what you've described. If your Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro keyboard is typing the same or incorrect keys, it is usually caused by an incorrect Windows input language layout, a stuck Num Lock/Fn state, or a temporary keyboard driver glitch. Go to Start > Settings > Time & Language > Language & Region, and ensure your correct language (such as English (United States)) is set as the primary language. An incorrect regional layout swaps symbols and numbers. Press Fn + F9 or look for a Num Lock indicator, as laptops can occasionally map a block of letters to act as a number pad. You can also plug in a USB keyboard to see if the same experience persists. If the external keyboard types normally, your internal Galaxy Book keyboard may have an inaccurate hardware or ribbon cable connection. We realize that transitioning to a new PC may come with a bit of a learning curve. This is a driving force behind why we offer an abundance of resources that help our customers become better acquainted with their devices. If you would like any further assistance after checking out the resources shared below, please feel free to reach out to Samsung Support at your earliest convenience. Thank you for being a devoted Samsung customer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Book6 pro with the I7 ultra 358H. I always wanted to get a samsung laptop and having it in my hands is a dream come true. It is really lightweight and definitely powerful. Already tried running some games and it performed pretty well. I can't wait to use it during my Masters program. Only downside is the trackpad but I am getting used to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the galaxy book over other brands because of its integration into the galaxy ecosystem. I enjoy how it is easier paired with my phone and galaxy buds. I love the crisp amoled 16" display and the keyboard feels great too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its the best laptop I've ever bought. I wish I would've known these existed sooner and I wouldn't have wasted money on all those other laptops.

Almost perfect
on August 17, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Book6 Pro because I'm already heavily invested in the Samsung ecosystem. Having a laptop that works seemlessly with my phone, watch and earbuds has been one of my favorite features.
The screen is gorgeous and HUGE which I love for schoolwork and multitasking, but the laptop itself is lightweight and I don't feel like I'm lugging a huge computer around. It's fast, responsive and has handled everything Ive needed it for so far.
My one disappointment is the removal of the numeric keypad. I use my laptop for school and business so have a 10 key would have been very beneficial. With such a large screen and laptop I wish Samsung would have kept it.
Overall, I'm extremely happy with my Book6 Pro. The combination of the beautiful large display, portability, and integration with my other Samsung devices makes this an excellent, everyday laptop.

Excellent device!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the new Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro laptop because it doesn't get warm at all. Highlights of the device include its lightweight feel, design, touch display with excellent brightness, and a keyboard that I also find great. The battery life gives you all day working. The hardware power delivered by its components—namely the processor and RAM—is without a doubt greatly appreciated, truly fitting for a latest-generation and premium device. The AI integration achieved by Samsung is simply phenomenal. Additionally, the way it syncs with other devices in the Samsung ecosystem is fantastic; being able to transfer files between the laptop and phone effortlessly, answer calls, reply to messages, or simply check your phone apps right from the laptop is all very intuitive. Well done Samsung, well done!
