Like the number of ports/options

Like the number of ports/options in this compact hub. However, hub overheats with use for a couple of hours and with only a few (Ethernet, 2 USB and HDMI) ports in use.

Great solution for the newer Macbooks

I didn't have an option to use a Mac for work, and I have a pretty comprehensive set up at my desk....two monitors, mic, webcam, speakers, mouse, keyboard, and a yubikey. If you've seen the 2020 Macbooks, then you know that it only comes with only two USBC ports and nothing else. This is a great docking station option. Life saver!

Terrible - don't buy

Bought this Hyperdrive and after three weeks it stopped working. Macbook says it's using too much power and disables device. This happened after trying to connect an ethernet cable.
Tried to contact Hyper, but no reaction in a week time. Disappointed, because it was expensive.

Can't keep computer charged

When I have this dock plugged in and the power connected to my early 2020 MacBook Air running zoom, the computer acts as if it's running on battery, i.e. the battery drains. I work remotely and am running zoom sometimes all day and if I am using this dock, I eventually have the disconnect it and plug the power straight in because the battery gets so low by mid afternoon, I worry I won't have charge later to bring the laptop downstairs after work without having it plugged in.
Also, I cannot charge a USB device through the dock unless the computer is plugged into it. (Note, the computer charge issue described above is without a USB device connected (e.g. a phone).) However, I do have a flash drive connected all the time.

running two monitors

I like the size and form, but I can't get two external monitors working, one with VGA and the other HDMI. I check with apple and the laptop supports 2 monitors and the resolution, and I can get both monitors to work, only one at a time. It also gets very hot with one monitor and two USB devices.

Goodbye Octopus

Everything I needed to avoid an octopus of dongles. Small and lightweight for roadtrips, ports for every monitor cable I might meet, couldn't have asked for anything better.

HDMI issue

I like the design of this one and has all the ports for my Macbook pro i'd like. I have however been unable to use the HDMI port, because the screen flickers. Its seems other's have same issue if you do a Google search? This is an expensive product for such a flaw.
