Amazing, but short connecting cord

Works great and I love the number of different ports it has. My only complaint is that once plugged into my iMac 24”, the cord is a little too short, making it awkward to position it flat on the desk. I ended up attaching it to the back of my iMac using 3M velcro strips, so now it’s out of the way and the cord length doesn’t matter. This would be a perfect hub for a laptop, but with an iMac, the cord is a bit short without getting creative.

Love my hyperdrive!

I love my hyperdrive! I needed a good quality usb port that had enough ports for me to work from home. I use a keyboard, mic, camera and more and the hyperdrive has worked perfectly. It looks great, works great and I would definitely buy it again. I employe about 20 people and I'll be including these in their next swag bags!

It works, and is a fine multi-port hub to use with a number of devices. I keep it in my "tool drawer" for when I need ports on a device, be it a Mac mini or an iPad, or whatever else. I wish I could say more, but it's just... fine!

EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED!!!!

This product works perfectly with my new MacBook Pro as well as my Windows-based laptop. Mini-DP and USB port connect with my Apple Cinema Display. Gigabit-Ethernet port allows me to take full advantage of high-speed Internet. Combined with pass-through USB-C power, there is no need for any other wired connection to either of my laptops. Highly recommend.

First use ports are tight

So far everything has worked well on it. Its nice and sleek, matches the Mac dark grey color. It seems to get kinda hot, which freaks me out, so I haven't used it for super long periods of time. My biggest issue was the first time I plugged in an HDMI cable; It was so tight, I could not get it out without the use of pliers! The second time I used it, it wasn't *quite* as tight, but still took a little finagling. But overall, it does the job intended, so what more can you ask.

Every time I connect my macbook pro 16 to an external monitor, through the HYPERDRIVE
SLIM 8-in-1 USB-C Hub, the monitor screen or tv flickers! So I got hub without normal HDMI for so expensive money
