I you want to kill your hard drives, use the Hyper Drive.

Lots of ports but unpowered = useless and way too expensive for what it is. If you connect a few hard drives and decide to copy files, backup files etc, the unit will randomly disconnect your drives and reconnect a few seconds later which will literally destroy your (spinning) hard drives.
Just got my new MacBook Pro and the HyperDrive NET 6-in-2 Hub USB-C, the HyperDrive USB-C Hub and the HyperDrive SLIM 8-in-1 USB-C Hub are all working just great. All my devices connected and work. Highly recommend.
A USB-C Hub For Apple Laptops That Doesn't Support Displays

It's crazy, but if you have an Apple Thunderbolt Display that uses a mini display port, it will NOT work with this hub. That is NOT stated in the FAQ or on the product web pages. Seems somewhat unbelievable, but that's just the way it is.
The HyperDrive USB-C Hub for MacBook is great for my home office. It has all of the connectors I need all in one place. It is large enough that I don't easily misplace it and small enough to fit in my laptop bag. Works for me.
It was not clear that the USB-C connector was for power only. Does not work for USB or Thunderbolt. Everything else does seem to work (I could not check the Display Port). Lots of I/O in one (large) package but runs much hotter than I expected. Overall, I am pleased with what I got.
This is my second hub that has caused my external hard drives to come unplugged and fail. Not all ports work.

The USB port on the Hyperdrive Ultimate next to SD Card supply the highest power output and can resolve the issue. If you need further assistance please contact us support@hypershop.com! Thanks
