Hyper Hub 8 in 1 works as advertised

Simply love this product. Perfectly designed. Everything looks as advertised. This product is great! Very slim and sleek yet durable. Plugs right in and all my devices and monitors plug in just fine. Like the SD card reader as well, very helpful and don’t need to buy a bunch of other attachments. Highly recommend this.

This has been a great hub and reliable, I use this everyday! I have recommended it to many people. The only thing I wish it did and am not sure if it's a technical or design decision is the USB-A ports are limited (see product specs)

Useful and nice looking but overheats and loses connections daily

USB-C devices seem to have a connection flaw in that they don't firmly lock in. The Hyper version is no difference, any slight pressure on the cord, a piece of paper bumping it and all connections are lost. Further, it gets really hot, you can't have it on your desk under a pile of papers or other stuff or it will become extremely hot and shutdown. I unplug it at night, breaks and lunch or it won't last through the day. Once it gets really hot it slows down and at some point apse a thermal failure. When it runs its great, when the cord is delicately babied an never moved pumped it runs fine.

I bought the hyper adapter with RGB, HDMI, USB A, USB C power pass through, SD cards and Ethernet connections. It’s a great, good looking, easily portable accessory that makes my tiny light MacBook also incredibly versatile.

I thought this hub would be different than the rest - it works ok but runs hot . And this is with two USB items plugged in. Sometimes I have to unplug and re-plug the hub back in to get it to work. So it works ok - runs hot - and I don't expect it to last.
