Headphones didn't last. Low sound, poor charging

I bought these a couple months ago as a replacement for headphones eaten by my dog. At first, they were ok, none of the tips fit perfectly in my ear, so the bass was a little low. Now, just months later, both of them are extremely low volume (left is still slightly louder). If it's not maximum volume, I can't hear it. Because they're imbalanced, I usually listen with the louder one only. However, when I try charging only one, it seems to not charge because the quiet one is left at full battery. Sometimes, I'll leave them charging for a day and theyll be at 10% when I take them out.

Thanks for your feedback. We're here to help with your JBL Tune Flex. Please try these steps to help fix the volume issue. First, to get the best audio response, create a tight seal in your ear by gently twisting the earbuds and angle the ear tip slightly downward. Next, check the balance control on your device's settings and your EQ settings. If the issue remains, try connecting your unit to other devices. For the charging issue, please use a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol to clean the contact pins on the earbud and in the case. If you need more help, please contact us.

Poor fit

These headphones do not stay in your ears when running or jogging. I’ve tried all of the supplied ear buds and they won’t stay in. Not for runners.

We're here to help with your JBL Tune Flex TWS. To achieve the best seal and secure fit, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. To do this, angle the ear tip slightly downward to make it easier to insert into your ear canal, gently twist the earbud to fit it securely into the shape of your ear, and continue twisting the earbud into your ear canal. If you need more help, please contact our customer support.

Not good

My wife got these as a present for our anniversary. This is the worst pair of wireless head phones I’ve ever had. They stay connected to your phone even when in the case which if you don’t notice will just drain the battery, and forces you to just turn your Bluetooth off. The ambient noise canceling doesn’t do much of anything. Lastly even if you turn off all the motion controls such as the tapping the ear phones to pause or skip song, completely turn them off in the settings, if something is pressing them for longer than about 10 seconds or so it will disconnect them completely and will have to completely restart the connection process in the app. So good luck using them if you lay on your side for exercises or your headphone is touching your pillow. I dislike these so much. Only reason for two stars is because the sound quality and adjustable settings are great.

We understand that your JBL Tune Flex didn't meet your expectations. We're here to help. For ambient noise, ensure that you have the correct size of ear tips for your ears, as a proper seal can significantly improve noise cancelation. For the Battery draining and motion control issues. We recommend doing a factory reset. To do this, with both earbuds on, and not charging, tap two times and hold the button on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. It's necessary to forget the name of the earbuds from the previously connected device before connecting again. If the issue persists, please contact our customer support.

Save yourself some money. DO NOT BUY THESE

I bought these to replace my lost Raycons and these are easily the worst earbuds I've ever had the misfortune to use. They do not fit, they hurt to use, touching the earbud activates random functions on the earbuds themselves, they do not seal to your ear so you can hear everything around you, the audio quality is terrible. Just a horrible product. I've used JBL earbuds in the past and I am deeply disappointed by this product. The only thing keeping me from throwing it in the garbage is the egregious amount of money that I spent on them.

We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your feedback. Our JBL Tune Flex comes in three different sizes sealing ear tips. For the headphones to give you the best audio response, you must create a tight seal within your ear canal. You may try the different sizes for optimal sealing and audio performance. If you need further assistance, please contact our customer support.

I was unable to attach the jackets on the earbuds.
By Customer SupportMarch 18, 2024
Thanks for reaching out. Our JBL Tune Flex has an extra small tip aside from the three sizes of ear tip that it came with, it is attached to the earbuds, unlike other sealing ear tips. You can remove this tip to change and put the size you prefer. If you need more help, please contact our customer support.
