Great new gourmet cooking appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Crockpot Slow Cooker with Sous Vide provided a new gourmet cooking experience and created a perfectly delicious meal. If you want to take pride in your culinary skills, this appliance is for you! The Crockpot is a “crockpot” and additionally provides a temperature probe to create the sous vide experience. It has a temperature control, thermometer and timer. It is 6 quart and serves 7-8 people. I cooked chicken from the recipe booklet provided. The chicken was tender and juicy. The pros are I have a crockpot and slow cooker with sous vide which takes the guesswork out of cooking. The cons are it takes a long time for the water to heat…I solved that by boiling water on the stove and adding it to achieve the correct temperature sooner. Also, after the meat was finished in the cooker, I had to sear it on the stove. One would also need to purchase special food bags to cook in. Overall, I will definitely use those cooker for special occasions!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got this I first thought it's just a crock pot but it has so many uses that I had never thought of. First the size of the pot is awesome. I was able to cook 7 lbs chicken inside comfortably. Made soup and got 7 servings out of it. Comes with a temperature probe that works greatvwith whole chicken, steaks, and hams. It does not take long to heat up. The digital timer is perfect display. Easy to see from across the room. Clean up is easy and is dishwasher safe. Comes with a recipe guide so this will get several uses this week. You will definitely enjoy how many different ways you will find to uses your too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this out and got a butt pork roast , I used the probe feature and cooked a almost 10 pound roast in under 4 hours on low but when the probe got to the 150 it shut off. I am used to a regular crockpot cooking 9 hours so was concern it would be tough but the meat came out great. The size of the pot was perfect and easy to clean

And clean up is very easy. Nothing sticks to the crock. And you can also do Sous Vide recipes too. So that even makes it more nice. I use it alot !
