My favorite meals always come from my crockpot and now I have this larger one that doubles as a sous vide cooker! For dinner the other night I vacuum sealed some seasoned boneless pork chops with a few cloves of garlic, set to my desired finishing temperature and submerged the bag in the pot for a couple hours. After removing from the bags I patted them dry and seared them on the stove just long enough to add some color and they were perfectly cooked and incredibly most! The only issue I had with this Crockpot is that the alarm is too quiet when the timer goes off, I barely heard it when I was in the next room.

I need a Crockpot in my household at all times. I love that I got sent this and it is my newest cooking obsession! It’s nicer than my old standard model from Crockpot. I did use it to cook green bean casserole for Christmas dinner and IT IS GAME changing for me. I had my old one cooking sweet potato casserole while this new one cooked my green bean casserole and it was life-changing lol. I didn’t take pics of our Christmas dinner but trust me I loved it and so did my family and neighbor. I will be cooking with this Crockpot all winter long. I’m all about the easy cooking life but making incredibly delicious food for my family.

Worth it for Sous Vide

The ability to cook food in a temperature-controlled water bath, in air-tight bags, elevated my everyday dishes to gourmet levels.
The inclusion of a removable probe is a game-changer. It ensures that food reaches a precise internal temperature, thereby eliminating the risk of over- or under-cooking. This feature is particularly beneficial for amateur chefs like me, who appreciate guidance to achieve perfect results every time.
Operating the cooker is a breeze, even without delving into the manual. The pot itself is a durable, glossy ceramic dish that not only looks great but also stands up to regular use. The lid is lightweight and easy to maneuver, which is a plus when it comes to washing up.
As an amateur chef who loves to make easy meals at home, I was excited to try out the sous vide recipes from the included brochure. My first attempt was with a salmon dish. Following the advice to use hot water initially was crucial, as it does take some time for the cooker to reach the necessary temperature. The digital probe was a helpful addition, allowing me to track the temperature progression and estimate cooking time.
The salmon cooked sous vide-style with everything bagel seasoning came out soft and juicy, a testament to the effectiveness of this cooking method. Although the taste wasn't drastically different from pan-frying, the texture was noticeably better. However, where the sous vide function truly shined was in cooking chicken breast. It turned out exceptionally juicy and tender, reminiscent of high-quality rotisserie chicken.
Realizing that sous vide cooking takes time, I prepared larger batches of chicken breast to last several days. Additionally, I tried a beef stew recipe from the brochure in the traditional slow cook mode. Even with cheaper cuts, the meat was tender and fell apart easily. The pot’s ease of cleaning after five hours of cooking on a high temperature setting was impressive.
In summary, the Crock-Pot with Sous Vide function is a fantastic investment, particularly for its sous vide capabilities. It consistently delivers gourmet-style, delicious meats that I haven’t been able to achieve with frying, boiling, or pressure cooking. The 6-quart size is ample for family-sized meals, and the only additional purchase I’d consider is larger sous vide bags for cooking bigger portions. Overall, this cooker is a standout in my kitchen, significantly enhancing my cooking experience.

My guests raved about the color and it looked so pretty on my countertop. The best part was that it was very easy to clean and cooked evenly. I am super excited to use again. Love my new crockpot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Crock-Pot Programmable 6-Quart Slow Cooker with Sous Vide in the color oat milk. It really is a pretty crockpot and I would not mind having it out on my countertop. It came with bags for utilizing the sous vide and it came with the thermometer as well. I had ordered a pot roast and all the fixings. I really like using the slow cooker bags. It helps to make cleanup easier. It was easy to program my pot roast and it turned out wonderfully. I would have preferred a slightly larger, slow cooker, but that was mainly because I had a ginormous xl beef roast to cook so I did not have as much room in it to cook many potatoes.I do not have any complaints. Normally, I don’t cook such large roasts. So I don’t see this being an issue going forward.

Who doesn't love a crock pot, I mean c'mon it helps us busy mom's out so much! This crock pot is so much more, sous vide is amazing and super easy, comes with all the tools you need. When I say you will make the most tender juicy meat in that thing...like I can't even deal. Was the best ever! Full of flavor. Holds all the juices in. I also made some pasta sauce in the normal crock pot and obviously works like a charm! Love my crock pot so much. Sturdy, heavy duty, well made, built to last. Incredibly easy to use. Affordable and something you will literally use all the time. Great for us busy mom's on the go. Does all the cooking for us lol! I'm so happy with this. Crock pot brand for life over here!
