Nice headphones that don't hurt your ear when wearing them. To make calls it is best to wear both for the listener. Expensive but I am happy with the upgrade
I have had my Bose Ultra Open Earbuds for about a month now. I am really surprised at how well the sound quality is for being an open earbud. These earbuds are perfect for the office environment if you need to listen to the conversations or loud speakers announcements. It is not very well suited for the gym with the gym music going. I do have my Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra earbuds for being around the gym. I am disappointed in the battery life in immersion mode. I used my Bose Ultra Open Earbuds to do yard work and left them in immersion mode and about 3 hours i got a 10% battery alert. To be fair though when I started my yard work i had been wearing my Bose Ultra Open Earbuds all day, so they were not fully charged. Speaking of which the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds are so comfortable to wear all day. I don't even notice I had they on all day. I really like these Ultra Open Earbuds so far.
I bought them for myself, I always have headphones with one ear open so I thought they would be great. BUT they didn't fit my big ears, they are super comfortable but they way the perched they didn't hit my ear canal well ... note I get the biggest hat from the big hat store, so naturally I have odd shaped ears I guess. But I sold them to my son and they fit perfectly and he loves them. So big win there! I went with a traditional overear headphone and resolved that earbuds and open air ear cuff types just don't work for me. /shrug. it is what it is. big head, big feet, big ears, what's a guy gonna do.
I've had these for just a week or so but I'm impressed especially by the immersive sound. Takes a bit to adjust how to wear them but your detailed instructions help.
Good sound but clarity and the inconsistency of stereo on the modes is very annoying. The placement and how it fits on the ears is not meant for use of sporting or workout situations.

Hi Firey, thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you enjoy the sound quality, but we’re sorry to hear you’re having difficulties with the modes. To cycle through modes, press and hold either earbud button, or use the Bose app by tapping Modes on the product control screen. To access modes on the earbuds, they must be set as favorites in the app. By default, Stereo and Immersion modes are set as favorites.
The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds feature a flexible “Flex Grip” design with soft‑touch silicone for a secure, light‑as‑air fit. We’re sorry they still don’t fit you well, and we understand how important proper fit is. To help, here’s a helpful guide you can use as reference: https://bose.life/4tHwCjw
