I am so happy about the new design and concept of these new earbuds! My ears no longer hurt after wearing this model for multiple hours. Great to use at the office or just out and about, where you can hear your surroundings and enjoy the music. The immersive sound feature is truly revolutionary! Not only does it give depth like a sound system around your head but you can pinpoint and pick up on certain elements of a song that I was not able to before with just regular audio. The design is very innovative and takes a little time to adjust as compared to other earbuds. Once you have the habit of putting the earbuds on your ear instead of in your ear, you won't even notice a difference. Great product to use in the winter during cold times under your hat! Very comfortable and easy to put on as opposed to headphones trying to go over your hood or hat. Personally, I would not use this model for working out seems to fly out at times. The white noise feature (or the static-like sound) is a little stronger when the music is paused (and when connecting it to your device) compared to the other quiet models where you don't notice it as clearly.

In products with active electronics, a certain amount of white noise is normal. However, you shouldn't hear this when your music is playing or when there's a certain amount of background noise around you.

Purchased about 3 weeks ago mainly for use when traveling. I’ve not had the opportunity to use them at length but have a trip coming up soon. I’ve been wearing them around the house to get used to them. Still trying to get comfortable with them,as they are totally different than any headphones or buds I’ve ever experienced. But, they sound great! I love Bose innovations!

I love the Open Ear Buds! The only issue I have is that needs to be considered is, everyone ear is not the same. I think they Buds needs to feel a little tighter to get perfect sound. Sometimes it hard for people to hear you, because the Buds aren’t press on the bone or whatever that transfer the sound. A little tighter fit will solve that small issue. Other than that, I love it. Now if you do change something base on this, remember me. Thanks

Great music, bad phone calls

I bought those earbuds few weeks ago... The sound of the music is great, but the quality of the phone calls is horrible, a lot of background noise, I can barely hear what people say having a phone call. I hope that Bose makes some updates in the software.

Firmware update 4.0.22 was released to bring enhancements to your far-end call performance, via improved voice pickup. Try installing this update (or later) via the Bose app, and see if the issue improves.

Exactly what I wanted…..

Ordered these open ear buds - hoping that the features (and fit) would work for me. They are exactly what I wanted! I walk 20 miles a week and ride mountain bikes 2 or 3 days a week. I wanted a product that allowed me to listen to music, but still able to clearly hear what’s around me. I also get tired of earbuds jammed into my ear canal - sometimes making my ears sore, not to mention the damage from listening to punk rock too loud. These open buds shoot the sound to your ear canal with surprising clarity. Jazz / classical / rock / podcasts all sound great. No - they’re not noise cancelling, and the sounds isn’t as great as my Bose QC’s, but they’re perfect for what I wanted. Great product - highly recommend.
