I like the architecture and open ear technology but people have difficulty hearing my voice when I am speaking and have to to disconnect to continue a clearer voice conversation. Also the open earbuds sometimes connect even when it is in the charging case.
I bought them as soon as they came out. I wasn’t really sure about them but knowing they were a Bose product I couldn’t be bad. Once I finally got used to them I love them and use them literally every day. Always looking forward to the new stuff Bose brings out!
Right earbud failed after 40 days. Had to send for a replacement pair. Good for listening to music but unreliable for phone calls. I frequently have to disconnect from them when on calls because people complain they cannot hear me talk. This never happens with other earbuds.
I love the way they look and feel but I’m disappointed with their performance.
Got these As a gift from the wife for my cycling adventures and I couldn’t be more happy! I can hear my surroundings and maps/music perfectly. They are performing better than any of the other sport type headphones I’ve ever had!
I’ve had my ultra open earbuds for about a month now and the only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 is call volume. They fit me very comfortably to the point that I have actually forgotten that I’m wearing them. I have never found earbuds that will stay in and I wear glasses so the over the ear style are pointless but these are perfect. The battery life usually lasts my entire workday (10+ hours of moderate use) and listening to music with them is truly fantastic. I had an issue with my charging case, one of the pins was trapped below the plastic, that I was able to correct without having to wait out the returns process (3 weeks). To make these earbuds perfect Bose just needs to have calls and music be able to have the same range of volume. Calls are much quieter than music and if there’s even a bit of background noise calls become bery difficult to hear at even the highest volume. Music does not suffer from this issue so it doesn’t really make sense to me. I use an iphone 14 and the Bose app.
