Well Designed Bag, Great Warranty & Customer Servi

I had my first 45L travel bag from Peak Design for over three years. It held up great and saw a million miles of air travel, literally. It’s the only travel bag I’ve ever owned that actually received unsolicited compliments from strangers during my travels, seriously. I’d still have it but I think something got caught in the zipper one time when I was zipping it up and the zipper came off the track. I contacted Peak Design’s customer service and they got back to me right away with instructions on how to make a warranty claim. Rome was the customer service rep helping me out through the whole process and he did an excellent job. Peak Design sent me a new bag free of charge along with a label to send the old bag back. I was sad to see my old bag go, but the replacement is identical, built with the same high quality and attention to detail. In fact, I think they may have beefed up the zippers a little on my newer bag!

Great Backpack

I never thought to find another backpack as this.
I can even go without problem with Ryanair as carry on. Maybe 45l sounds to little for someone who is a backpacker, but believe me theres a great space on it.

Like the look, feel, color, structure and features of the bag. If I had 2 suggestions it would be to make the expandable section be part of the larger section of the bag, instead of the front. Let the front be its own section all the time. The second would be to have the lap top sleeve be its own separate section as well. Access to the laptop without having to open the main compartment. Great bag otherwise.

The backpack is amazing. Sturdy, well built. It is a bit on the bulky side… I’m always scared when going to take an airplane… but no issue so far. It is also on the heavy side. But the functionality is amazing. The snap system for 30-35L does not work if the bag is packed though. Would have been much better with another zip.

Great and so many areas to store items

You wont know the value of this bag until you get it. The storage is amazing and to access the storage pockets is so convenient so you never have to worry on where you will place items. It has different types of pockets such as washbag type pocket and then standard zip pockets. There are plenty of zips to secure your items and a main zip in the section to keep your items tidy organized.

Best travel backpack I've used

I've been using this backpack for ~6 months now and, with one small exception, it has been fantastic. It has a very large main compartment that aligns well with the size of their packing cubes, which I also love. The zippers on the main compartment allow the back to be opened completely, supporting easier view-ability and access to your stuff. Outside the main compartment, there are plenty of additional storage/attachment options that cover all of my needs.
The only issue I've run into was the sewing on the velcro for the device compartment, which came unraveled after a month or two. I raised the issue to the company and they resolved it quickly and completely.
