I've known about this bag for years now. And finally I have it. It solves so many problems, and it fills a crucial need in my travel arsenal. I'm pretty much set for one bag travel.
I was thinking about buying this backpack over months and months and finally decided to do so for black Friday. Can't wait to use this backpack for my round the world trip in a few months.
In conclusion, this bag has fantastic utility and comfort, looks wise I love the sleek stealthy look, is it an industrial backpack, or is it a camera bag, it's both!
I absolutely love this bag, it's built like a tank. I bought it on the used marketplace and it arrived as if it was new (after 5 years of ownership elsewhere). The only gripe I have is that the straps do dig in a little bit when its fully loaded, it doesn't bother me, but I could see it bugging some people. The waist strap really helps of course too.
This backpack is made of high quality material and very well thought through. It offers great flexibility with padded laptop compartment and with a divider which can be unzipped. I am using it as carry on luggage on air travel and works very well.
I'd put off this purchase for a while and an upcoming trip to the UK was the trigger to buy and it was going to put the bag to the test. It hasn't let me down and I'm back from my trip. There was a bit of getting used to the straps and clips in how they operated compared to other bags I have. The functionality of storage was very helpful once I got used to using the bag each day. Being able to expand or reduce the overall size was very helpful at times. With the waist belt the weight of the bag sits nicely on my hips and away from the shoulders. I did nearly loose the chest strap but fortunately I spotted it laying on the ground. I think I used every aspect of this bag and it just worked well for 11 days of travel. I combined it with a camera cube and packing cube which also made usability even more helpful. It's got couple of rub marks on it now but that's all part of traveling and a working bag. Seems to be a pretty solid bag, I'm impressed so far. It was great to be able to tuck in the straps when using an overhead locker or just in a hotel room. It tidies up the backpack and a welcome feature in my book. Hopefully the zips last as I've found it can be the weak point of any bag if it's not done right.
I was comparing this and another backpack. I ordered the PeakDesign Travel Backpack and it has far exceeded my expectations. So many thought out details and when I loaded it up with all of my gear, it actually felt lighter due to the design of the straps and the backpack. I love the zippers and the attention to all of the little details.
