Sturdy yet Comfortable Chair

I needed to replace my “gaming” chair that I use just about daily to play games on my PC. I began looking for a task chair due to realizing that “gaming” is just a marketing word and that the racer style chairs are by design less comfortable than the standard office chair. After using my original chair for a year I learned a lot sitting on leather for hours on end became extremely hot and uncomfortable. I stumbled on the Staples Hyken through a few reviews on comfortable and posture-improving chairs. I decided on buying the chair almost instantly due to its competitive price and having features very close to the ErgoChair. The mesh provides a ridiculously high amount of airflow and gives a lot of support while still being very comfortable lumbar support is pretty good too but not too adjustable. I’ve read that if you are quite tall the head rest may sit too low but that’s not a problem for me as I’m just 5’6” I highly recommend the Hyken!

Good chair headrest is useless

Chair was a good deal and fairly easy to assemble. It adjusts well for seat and armrest height and allows for back adjustment but the headrest hits me in the shoulders and I’m 5’11”. I took it off when I realized it could not be adjusted for height.

Terrific for sometimes painful lower back

Great so far. I am an assembly klutz so it took me a long time to assemble but the enclosed packaging and instructions were very good. The telephone support center for assisting with assembly was worthless.

This is not a bad chair. Nice and compact. Better than most chairs that I've tried out. This model chair could be slight better feeling but its acceptable. If they took the Staples Ayalon chair and made the seat mesh on that model I would I would prefer that model over this model. Due that this model has a mesh seat its better for your butt overtime if you sit 5-10 hours a day working. Other than that if Staples decides to remodel the Ayalon model with a mesh seat I will change over but in till then this model is good at the moment.

Decent enough chair

Hasn't fallen apart in the few months I've had it. I haven't had it through a summer yet so I don't know if the chair will stay as cool as I hope it well. Otherwise I like the range of adjustability and the lumbar support. I wish the back was a bit taller but there may actually be a model with a headrest.
