Several things I don't love about this chair in order of annoyance: 1) My hips sink down into the mesh and kinda get squeezed between the frame...not too noticeable if only sitting for a few minutes but been working from home with COVID so not happening for me. 2) Wearing shorts with the mesh is not very comfortable. 3) the bottom of the head rest support hits the top of my shoulders. I do like the ergonomics of this chair as my back stopped bothering me as much when I started sitting in this chair but the negatives totally outweigh it. I have already bought another chair & was going to return this one but my wife said she would use it in her office (a.k.a. our bedroom). Keep in mind I am 6'1" 240lbs and she's 5'1" and 100+ lbs lighter than me so we'll see if these things bother her as well (minus the headrest which she has indicated she has no interest in keeping).
Arrived with bad gas strut which required replacement but simple to assemble. Once set up the seat is quite hard for all day sitting. While though just shy of 6ft tall and 170lbs the head rest digs into shoulders and had to remove. Width is fine but if you hare wider then you would be sitting on the base frame section which would no doubt make it even more uncomfortable. Kids love it as sits them up higher than my old chair but for my build..... will give it one more day to attempt to find any other positives.
For the price this chair is excellent. It isn’t a cushy seated lounge chair but if you want a day-long work-comfortable chair with good lumbar support and the ability to lean back and have good neck support this chair is outstanding. It has all that you need in a desk chair including adjustments where needed. It is also lightweight enough to be easily transported if your job keeps you on the move while not being so lightweight that strength is compromised. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because it doesn’t have the fancy luxurious comfort of the high-end desk chairs. Other than that I strongly recommend it.
