Solid especially for the price

Got this chair because doctor told me I need to ease tension on my neck and shoulders by resting arms on armrests and head against a headrest.. Staples delivered this next day - super quickly - and it's been totally cool for 2 weeks now. Highly recommend. Easy to piece together too.. took 10 or 15 min.

Great chair but needs a bit of work for tall people

Like most recent reviewers I have been forced to work from home the past couple of months. My old desk chair was "okay" for a few hours but I started to get back pain and it got progressively worse. I decided to give the Hyken a try based on the reviews. It is great with the exception of the headrest which was way too low for my 6'4" /220 lbs frame. There's a mod online that involves reversing the bracket holding the headrest; that gave it another inch of height or so but still not enough. So I had to fabricate a custom bracket from stacked lexan sheets which finally brought the headrest in the right position. I wish Staples would include a bracket like this or sell one separately for a few bucks. That would make this product perfect.

Chair is very comfortable moves smoothly and is of good quality. My boyfriend has the same chair at home and when I was looking for a new chair for the office that might help me with some lumbar support and was financially reasonable he suggested this one! He made a great suggestion as a Staples employee a consumer and boyfriend! Very happy with my chair!

excellent quality and material smooth wheels and very comfortable for long hours sitting down. the head rest has a weird design and is only comfortable in very few positions at maximum recline. i gave it 5 stars because of the discounted price i got it for which compensates for the head design. i would give it 4 stars at regular price.

Great upgrade for me and reasonably priced

I can't knock my old "pleather" chair too hard. It had a good run but ultimately needed a cushion peeled excessively and would not stay at the adjusted height. This chair won't have either of the first two issues (latter pending). I also really like the headrest and arm height adjustment. I only wish you could raise it a little higher and that the arms were a little more adjustable.

Very comfortable and the headrest is at a great position. I really like the positions it locks at - so far it's been great for everything from coding taking conference calls to relaxing with my tablet after work!
