I can not heap enough praise on this chair except to say that it is Fabulous and far greater than the Derriere that anyone can heave on it. Assembly was simple and sweet all screws are color coded numbered and indexed to the instructions Staples even supplies the Hex Wrench (1 fits all screws). It is Extremely Comfortable and adjustable the mesh both back and bottom allow full airflow so nothing sweats. I have arthritis in my back and can my Lumbar being supported even when fully reclined. There is one fault and this might be personal preference the headrest can be raised and lowered and also pivots up and down perpendicular to your shoulders it is Convex (like a football) so it gives the pillow effect but I WOULD LIKE THE HEADREST TO BE CONCAVE OR AT LEAST FLAT WITH SOME SLACK BECAUSE I THINK MOST PEOPLE WHEN THEY PUT THEIR HEADS BACK WOULD APPRECIATE THEIR CHINS TO POINT UP RATHER THAN TOWARDS THEIR CHEST. STILL THE Staples Hyken Mesh Computer and Desk Chair Red (50218)is THOUGHTFULLY DESIGNED MASTERFULLY CRAFTED AND SIMPLY A MARVELOUS CHAIR 5 STARS HAVE FUN& BE SAFE Your Faithful Patron
The mesh feels strong but flexible. It has been in the 90s lately and I haven't gotten hot due to it's breathable nature. The chair parts feel well made and assembly was very easy. The parts were labeled correctly and the instruction booklet was more helpful than any instruction booklet I've seen. One adjustment I've had to make is the front tilt. At certain angles it puts a lot of pressure on the bottom of my thighs making my calves and feet tingle if I sit long enough. After adjusting the title knob in the front it feels better but now I'm sitting more forward. Oh well life isn't perfect. My measures: 5 ft 9 195lbs
This is a nice and comfortable ergonomic office chair. I have issues with lower back pain even with moderate amount of sitting. This chair has helped a lot with providing support at all the right places. I would have given 5 stars if the lumber support had more adjustment room.
this chair fit me like a glove. I produce videos so I'm sitting for 6-8 hours on the days that I'm editing. Wheels handled carpet no problem. BUT the gas lift didn't work right out of the box. Went to exchange it for another there aren't any more of them in the area so I can't say if my problem was quality control or just an outlier. This is a narrow chair and the adjustable armrests are a teeny bit finicky. I also found the neckrest to be really close to the main back of the chair- perfect for shorter folks like me but it might be closer to your shoulderblades if you're over 5'9. I wound up with a Dexley which is a nearly identical chair with a slightly higher neck support and a slightly wider seat so if you're much bigger than my 165 pounds you'll definitely want the wider Dexley. Otherwise the chairs are dang near identical.
