Staples Hyken Mesh Task Chair

Seems to be a sturdy chair love the headrest and tilt function as they work very well for what they are intended for. The lumbar function is not as impressive as it only slides up and down; wish it would move horizontally as well. Still trying to get acclimated to the seat cushion as well. Mesh seat with cushion underneath at the front where your legs dangle. Rolls well even on the carpet and spins effortlessly.

It's just very comfortable and works perfectly for what I need it to do. The head rest is a little weird at first but you get used to it.

I ordered this chair based on all of the amazing reviews. The good: it was easy to order and it delivered SO quickly. My husband was able to assemble it for me in under 30 minutes. It is also a very sturdy chair for the price. I would rate it 4 stars for these aspects. The not good: I don't find it comfortable at all. The mesh seat is extremely rough and uncomfortable against my bare skin (summertime = shorts). I am I am a 5'7" and the arm rests are at odd heights so either my shoulders drop too low or they rest too high; the headrest is also at an odd height so my head juts forward too far. The most frustrating thing about the chair is that it is slightly crooked. The back piece and headrest are slightly left of center and we simply can't straighten it. I would rate it 1 star for these aspects. Bottomline: I gave the chair to my 13 year old son to use for distance learning this fall. He's happy with it so is his. Based on my experience and his I give this 3 stars.

Exactly what I needed

I had a big bulky faux leather executive chair and although the cushion was very plush and comfortable it was also very sticky and sweaty. This chair is super comfortable supportive and fresh. I can sit in it for hours without tossing around every few minutes.

This chair provides relief and less pressure compared to the standard cushioned chair. Also helps with posture.

When the chair arrived the box was destroyed. It was torn dented and pieces of the chair were hanging out. When I yelled for the driver he just sped off. This is unacceptable. I will probably never buy anything like this from Staples again.
