As a UX Designer and now as a user of this chair it would be much more convenient to place the controls of the chair somewhere where I sit. On the side of the arm rests a little below instead of reaching under the chair which if you look at it might defeat the purpose of the chair when bending over to adjust the chair. Other wise great support.
This is a nice sturdy comfortable chair that was easy to assemble. The arms raise and lower which is a very nice feature. It reclines and the height is adjustable - all adjustments are very easy with the included paddles/levers. It has great lumbar support too. I really like that the mesh is open and the air circulates well which will be a real bonus when the hot weather returns. I think this chair is a good value and I'm really happy with it.
They Staples HKyken Mesh Task Chair is standing the test of time. I purchased it in 2016 and I am still using it today. As far as wear and tear I have had to replace the left arm. Thank God for the 7 year warranty that comes with the chair for parts. Because of wear and tear I called them to see what could be done and they created a case number and sent the new left arm out. 4 years later (today) I called again to see where I could go to buy another replacement arm and they said it's still under warranty and are sending me out a new left arm rest and head rest. It has some of the mesh starting to come off. The chair is nice the customer service is good. Both are solid reasons why it would be good to consider this chair for your setup. It is comfortable it has 2 levers one to raise it up/down and the other to recline. For work this chair is good. I know my experience is not everyone's but I had to throw a shout out to the Staples team on creating a good office chair and customer service. Keep up the good work. Note: every now and then you'll need to vacuum the back of chair because dust will get behind the mesh.
