Great Chair for the Price

I am a relatively petite person (5'2") and needed to replace an oversized chair that I had inherited from my predecessor. The Hyken task chair did the trick. It is ergonomically designed and can be adjusted so that someone of my height can be comfortable. Good lumbar spine and neck support. The material is a little flimsy (i.e. my large dog would likely destroy it in my home office) but it is comfortable and perfect for my office.

The chair is very comfortable - I like the mesh! Very cost effective overall. Just know that you’re getting the bare minimum when it comes to the armrests - not comfortable and minimally adjustable. Would recommend if it’s on sale only.

If I sit forward I get the ergonomic lower back support. If I lean back I get the support of the full chair and headrest. Great chair especially at that price.

Pros: For the price of about $140 for everything this is a decent chair that offers a lot toggling for the user. You can toggle the head rest position back support arm rest width/height back rest angle chair height. And I have no doubt that staples would honor this chairs warranty I guess. Cons: Head rest height limits additions like a chair pillow by jutting out instead of extending the back rest. There is a certain adjustment that you can do that will likely void your warranty that makes it extremely more comfortable. You really need a cover for this if you have delicate skin run your finger across the mesh too fast and you might scrape your skin. The head rest too needs a cover. To standardize my experience for you the reader I'd say this is a medium to small chair so if you have a big lower half it might be squeezing unless you remove the arm rests.

It’s alright not great

This was a gift for my gaming son. He assembled it and noted some frustration with holes not lining up at times. He had to ask his Dad to help with the headrest as no matter what he did one of the screws would go in far enough to hold it on. Rather than take it back and then have to start over on assembly he and his Dad found a longer thinner screw that they could screw in at an angle that would stay. He also notes it is a comfortable chair except for the edges of the back lumbar support. If he sits ever so slightly at an angle the hard edges dig into his back.
