The chair is heavy and you can tell it’s good quality. It’s very comfortable and I like the simple look of it. It was kind of hard to put together the top and bottom halves but it was worth it.

Excellent chair minor problem

This chair is an excellent value for the money. It has many comfort adjustments and doesn't trap the heat. It moves smoothly is easy to adjust and is very comfortable. My only complaint is that a small piece is missing from the factory-assembled headrest and now I need to follow up on that issue. Otherwise this would have likely been a five-star review.

Decent Chair for Price

The chair is ok given low price compared to good but expensive office chairs. Biggest complaint is that the customizations avail (tilt height arms lumbar) are limited in terms of setting levels. Also the seat depth is very shallow and can not be adjusted. I am 5' 11" and my knees are several inches from the edge of the seat.

I first fell in love with the Hyken chair in 2015 when my boss took us to Staples to pick out our own office chairs. Six years later when setting up my home office as I begin grad school I went back to Staples to see if the chair was still as magical as I remember it and it is so I bought it! But the thing about this chair which I think some reviewers touch on is that it isn't magical for everyone. For my height and body proportions this chair is perfection. The headrest hits me in just the right spot as does the lumbar support and the seat depth. I love the amount of tension the chair allows so I can lean back as I want and it doesn't just go stright back it has some resistance. I began grad school last week and have sat in this chair studying for hours on end without feeling fidgety or having my butt or legs go numb. I actually prefer sitting in this chair to sitting in bed or on a couch. For me this chair's comfort is similar to those fancy Eames lounge chairs (look it up).

Chair sinks to the lowest height every time I sit on it or I use the height lever. Was a great chair at first but cannot effectively be used anymore since I'm tall with a tall desk. I am 6'0" and 180lbs for reference.

Hyken Mesh Task Chair

Wear and tear already showing on chair after 100 days of usage. I weigh 130-lbs and didn’t use the chair through the Thanksgiving-Christmas-New Year holidays. Wasn’t aware that the chair came with only a 90 day warranty and didn’t purchase the extended warranty. Very disappointed to know that the chair came with hardly any warranty and it’s already showing wear and tear with limited usage.
