Comfy Ergonomic Office Chair

I realized that I desperately needed to create a proper workspace after 10 months of working at my kitchen table caused me to have horrible back pain. I purchased this amazing office chair from Staples and it has made a world of difference. I'm now able to work comfortably without damaging my back. PLUS this chair was a great value the salesperson was helpful and the delivery was quick!

I'm using this chair to replace well one of our dining room chairs so it's a real upgrade. Beyond that I've found that it's comfortable and unobtrusive enough that I often forget that I'm even sitting on a chair. I'm very happy with it but there were a few things I didn't like. Several of them are related to the arms: 1) they're pretty small and stiff not very cushiony 2) they're pretty narrowly positioned--I'm not a big guy but have fairly broad shoulders so my arms don't naturally fall where the chair arms are 3) they don't rotate or move in or out despite a line in the instruction manual that implies they are supposed to be able to do so. And the head rest could stand to be a little more adjustable horizontally (front to back). Otherwise it's a pretty good deal for a comfortable and cool-looking chair.

Remove Lumbar Support

For me personally the lumbar support was too hard and aggressive and hit my back much lower than it needed to. It could be adjusted up but not nearly enough. Meanwhile the headrest was also a bit too low for me. Perhaps I am larger in stature than their target demographic. Regardless I removed both the lumbar support and the headrest (which can be done without damaging anything) and the chair is much more comfortable.

Good comfort for the price

I bought this because I work from home and have neck pain. After a week of using it my flare ups I was getting from my old chair have subsided. There are good options for setting the arm rest height and recline. It’s not the fanciest looking chair but it is very comfortable and a great value.
