Comfortable with personalised adjustments

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this chair while working from home for the past week (~8hrs/day). It has been way more comfortable than I expected. It really supports my body in all the right places and has a lot of little adjustments and padding that make a big difference. Pros: •Excellent Adjustability: The chair offers small but meaningful adjustments in multiple areas—lower back headrest and armrests—which allowed me to really tailor it to my body. The added lumbar support was especially helpful. My husband was able to tweak it easily for his own comfort too. •Breathable Backrest: The breathable mesh back has made a huge difference during hot California summer days. •Well-Padded Seat: The seat cushion is thick and comfortable though possibly a bit too wide if you have a smaller frame. •Ergonomic Fit: Once adjusted the chair supports my posture throughout the day and has noticeably reduced fatigue and back discomfort. Cons: •Industrial Aesthetic: The black version has a very utilitarian almost industrial look. It’s functional but not exactly stylish. •Assembly Instructions: While putting the chair together wasn’t difficult overall the instructions were vague and could definitely use improvement. I had to disassemble something after I installed it incorrectly since the instructions weren’t clear. Overall: If you prioritize comfort and ergonomic adjustability over sleek design this chair is an excellent choice. It’s ideal for anyone who spends long hours working at a computer and wants a customizable breathable seating experience—especially in warmer climates.

Breathable office chair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I'd give this chair 3 stars and here's why. First the pros: This chair is definitely breathable and even for extended periods of sitting in it my back stayed nice and cool. It is also super adjustable in many different areas so it can meet your needs. I was so happy that aside from the overall height being adjustable the arm rests were adjustable in three different ways including the height so it was able to fit my desk height. I am 5"1 so my desk is on the shorter side so those adjustment features were definitely a plus for me. Now the feature that I used most and was disappointed with that led to three stars despite my over loving of this chair the adjustable recline. I loved this feature so much and used it often because when I wasn't actively using my computer I wanted to recline slightly to be more comfortable. However after a couple of days despite being in the locked position when I leaned back the chair was free reclining and I was startled. This soon happened again every so often to the point that now I am more aware every time I sit back just in case it is free reclining again. If this feature corrects itself than for sure this chair is 5/5. Overall this chair looks nice is comfortable breathable and highly adjustable.

Extremely comfortable for long work days

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m extremely impressed with the comfort and adjustability of the Hykren pro desk chair. It was easy to put together with simple instructions. This is made with strong and heavy material which makes this chair perform well and hold up to 275lbs. It easily adjusts in many ways such as; arm rest height lowering and increased height of the chair cervical comfort and adjustment. I have been using this in my office and love how supportive it is. I really love how you can adjust the chair to lean back and slightly recline. This is a chair that supports my neck and I can work a full days in without getting sore. I would highly recommend this product and look forward to continued use.

I spend 8+ hours a day working at a computer and even after using this chair only a week I can tell my body feels better because of it. Highly recommended!

I am very pleased I purchased this chair! I opted for the gray color and I think it is very attractive for a desk chair. Furthermore the assembly process was so easy! The company has done a great job breaking down the steps and packaging the supplies you need. All of the parts felt sturdy and well made. Once you have the chair put together it is a pleasure to use. I appreciatte the many ways you can customize the way it fits your body. Overall I think this product has been well thought out I would definitely again buy from the company that produces it the price I paid at Staples was a great deal and purchasing from Staples could not have been easier.

Style meets comfort

The ergonomic design offers excellent lumbar support and the adjustable height and tilt features make it easy to customize for long hours at my desk. The seat cushion is firm yet comfortable providing just the right balance for extended sitting. The breathable mesh back keeps me cool and the smooth-rolling wheels make it easy to move around my workspace without scratching the floor. Assembly was straightforward with clear instructions and the build quality feels solid and durable. On top of that the sleek modern design looks great in my home office. A Solid Ergonomic Desk Chair with Some Caveats

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hyken Pro Black Chair is a great value for the money. Prior to receiving this chair I’d been using a different ergonomic desk chair that cost nearly 10x more than the Hyken and it surprised me to find so many similarities between the 2 chairs. The seat is nicely padded and the seat back and neck support are made of a flexible knitted mesh for air flow and ventilation. The chair allows for micro-adjustments in seat and arm height lumbar support and recline which makes for a super customized comfortable position. I’ve used the chair at my dining room table to work from home and also at my home office desk and in both situations I was able to easily position myself. I sit at my computer for 7-8 hours a day and this chair was comfortable for the duration. The neck support is a welcome addition. My prior desk chair didn’t have one and I’ve discovered that it’s nice to have head and neck support when I lean back. Now for the cons. While I did find the instructions simple and parts nicely organized it was still pretty difficult to put together. The pieces are bulky and heavy and because the instructions direct the user to assemble the chair upside down until the last step it’s hard to find a surface that accommodates the angles of the arm rests. If you’re not tall or able to lift or hold heavy items in place while you screw them together you may need a second person to help with assembly. The other 2 cons are aesthetic in nature. The chair’s base is a silver color and made from molded plastic. It feels heavy duty enough and I know it’s meant to look like metal but it winds up looking cheap when viewed up close. Maybe a different color way would hide this a little better? Lastly the arm rest pads are way too firm for my preference. I don’t find it comfortable to rest my elbows on them for any length of time and wish they had more give/cushion. All that said it’s a reasonably priced ergonomic desk chair that has a lot going for it.

My wife also uses it during the weekends; we especially enjoy the many adjustments on the chair. It is perfect for eight-hour days.
