Armrest cracked overtime

Have had this chair for over 5 years now. Mesh part is just fine. Sturdy and lasts. Bit uncomfortable for long periods so I use padding for my back and seat. The armrest however is another story. It has cracks and increases over time. The material on the armrest does not last. Really disappointing. Otherwise this chair could last long time if it weren't for the poor quality armrest material.

Replacing after 10 months

Was ok for a while. Bottom doesn't have enough support so not good for an all day work from home chair is you weigh more than 100 lbs. Mine doesn't squeak mine makes horrible cracking noises. Hyken appears to be the same base so I expect the same issue. (I weigh 240lbs and use this chair 4 times a week all day)

I haven't had much opportunity to use it but it was comfortable when I did and it is a huge improvement over the one it replaced.
