Lumbar support is good. Arm rest adjustment is very good. Tilt control is average. Lift cylinder average. Chair is about 2 inches too low for my taste. I have ordered a taller after market cylinder to attempt to adjust. pending receipt.
The chair is nice and all but it has a problem with the pneumatic cylinder. I got this chair 2.5 years ago and after 9 months the cylinder broke and always lost height over a few minutes. Staples replaced the chair for free and now after almost 2 years the same issue is happening on the new one it loses height slowly until it bottoms out.
I am a data scientist working from home. I needed a good chair that I am comfortable sitting on for long hours but I also did not want to spend $2000 for a chair. I bought this chair after watching a YouTube video that recommended it. I tested it at Staples but they didn't have any in stock so I ordered online. The chair is great and ergonomic. I like the head rest and the ability to lock it at an angle so that when I think about a problem I can relax my body. But I wish it was a bit larger. I am 5' 11" and 163 lbs for your reference. I think if you are taller than 5' 11" then the head rest may touch your shoulders. I have set the head rest to its highest position and it is fine for me. It seems to be durable but I have owned it for just a couple of weeks so I'm not sure about that.
