Great Computer Desk Chair

We shopped the other office type stores in our area and looked at many chairs. We compared each by price style and how comfortable and supportive they were. The Staples Hyken Technical Mesh Task Chair came out on top hands down! Very compfortable and supportive of my back. Helps me to sit up straight and gives great adjustable support. The abilitiy to adjust the arm settings has really helped when typing on the computer keyboard. The extra head and neck support make kicking back and reading on-line most comfortable as well. In addition the mesh fabric is most comfortalbe. And the directions for putting the chair together is very consumer friendly. All the pieces are easily identfied with the pictures provided in the directions and all screws are in separate packaging for easy identification along with where they go. The only tool needed to put the chair together is also included...one little allen wrench. The whole process took me less than twenty minutes. In summary this is a most attractive and comfortable chair and I highly recommend it. Couple all of this with the fact that Staples had it on sale for $100 off made this the easy choice for us!
This product has proven to be a great support for me with the back issues that I experience. It was easy to assemble and very easy to keep clean. I am very pleased with this product and I am glad that I choose the product.
I just got this chair for work and it is absolutely the BEST chair I have ever had by far! The chair I had was an $800 chair and did not compare at all. I have a lot of back problems and the lumbar is just wonderful!!!
Very very comfortable. Great lumbar support. Easy up and down lever for adjusting. Nice firm seat. Assembly was done by the Staples staff (additional $10.00) before I arrived for payment and pickup. Only negative drawback is the headrest can't be adjusted for height. It does has a forward motion. I am 6 feet and if I lean back the headrest hits me about shoulder level.
The Hyken Technical Mesh Task Chair is just the chair I need for the added support that I need at the moment to allow me to work more comfortably after injuries sustained in an auto accident. Although I had a great chair it did not have the upper back and neck support I need. Since I could not find the proper chair at my work place - and since our non profit is on a strict budget - I couldn't pass this chair up after I sat in it --- and to top it off it was on sale for a great price. I've used it for several days now and I love it!
The chair looks good and is reasonable well built. It has a good height and back tilt adjustment and good arm rest adjustments. Even though the description says it has an adjustable lumbar support it really doesn't. Never the less the lumbar support worked for me. That being said the headrest can not be raised so is more or less useless unless you have a short torso and neck. The seat and back use a combined tilt mechanism so the base doesn't have a real tilt mechanism so it tends to cut off the circulation to my legs. This a mess chair so it does not have a traditional padded seat. The seat side rails that the mess is attached to are a little to narrow for me. My thighs tend to press in to the side rails a little. I do not have a big butt so I caution anyone with a posterior that is even a little wide that you may find this chair uncomfortable. For these reasons I would not recommend this chair.
I needed an ergonomically correct chair that was comfortable and affordable and this fit the bill. It's very supportive and the height of the chair and arms are both adjustable to ensure a perfect fit. The head rest works great for me but I am a smaller woman 5'4". Overall a great investment.
