I have used this chair for a few weeks now and really like the comfort of it for all day computing use. At first I was not sure the mesh would be all that comfortable as I switched from a nice cushy office chair. However I find it extremely comfortable. I would like to see a few more adjustments especially with the arms. They do have a few however I am smaller framed so my arms do not rest on them as they should when typing. but I find this with most chairs.
I suffer from lower back problems and so sitting at a desk all day always represents a major challenge for me. So when I had to start working from home regularly I start the hunt for a chair that would help make the process manageable. I went to all the largest office supply stores in the area and the furniture stores too and spent ages sitting for extended periods in every seat I could find. I keep lists of all the ones that made my short list and went back many times. Many of the big loafer chairs that seemed comfortable at first really didn't prove that comfortable once I had narrowed it down to a few and gone back to spend more time in them (and yes I did get some strange looks in some stores for spending so much time sitting in chairs!) Given what a big deal it was for me and how much time I plan to be spending in a seat I was ready to spend as much as it would take for a chair over a thousand if necessary. But in the end there were a couple of things it came down to; good lumbar support good back and forth adjustment and proper head support. I was absolutely amazed after all my trials that it came down to this one chair as it just didn't seem expensive enough to be the best. As it was so inexpensive I decided it couldn't hurt to just buy it give a try for a while and by another if it didn't work out. So a month later and I am happy to say that it is a great chair to live with all day every day I feel comfortable and relaxed even after extended periods at my desk so it has met all of my expectations. Given all that it is such an amazing bargain and so I felt fully justified having a proper review so others can benefit.
The chair is very comfortable I like the head rest it seams to remind me to sit back since I can feel it on my neck. I would like the arm rest to go up higher. The back support is great. I did need to buy a seat cushion to help support my lower back. Though this is a personal preference and some might not need this.
The mesh seat and back are as comfortable as a lawn chair offering excellent support. This chair is superior to the mesh chair I replaced (10 years old) which had sagged to rest on seat frame support bars the last year or so.
This chair is the most comfortable desk chair I've ever had! It has good posture support and tilts back easily when I want to lean back. It also has a great mesh that doesn't get hot. Its small enough to fit in a tight spot and still support a rather large person. The base is super strong and the headrest is adjustable for different height people. There's even a lumbar support you can adjust! The chair spins easily and the wheels are sturdy enough to roll easily on my carpet. Overall an excellent chair!
We bought our computer chair primarily because my wife needed a neck rest while using her computer. The chair not only provides comfort for her neck but it has proven to be comfortable for her back as well. This chair is made of a of what Staples calls a technical mesh material that is light and very strong. Because it is light the chair is easy to maneuver and well balanced while changing positions. We also like this Staples Hyken chair because it enough for the arms to fit under our old fashioned desk we use for our computer.
It just was not soft enough for me. Has a lot of nice adjustments on it. Lots to put together though. However instructions are very easy to understand. Had to return it b/c the seat was not soft enough but loved the back support.
