The key with this chair was the ability to rest my head and neck. I don't know why more office chairs don't have this feature. It helps me to avoid neck pain from leaning forward all day. Its fairly easy to put together and very sturdy and comfortable. I thought the price was reasonable as well considering the cost of some of the pricier ergo style office chairs.
I particularly like the back support and open breathable mesh design of this task chair. It is comfortable in a way that many chairs cannot provide due to the concave shape of those chair backs that exerts pressure on the upper shoulders causing one to hunch over a bit. This chair back provides support from just above the hips up to about midway on the shoulder blades. There is no more hunching over. The arm rests are padded but could be a little softer for more arm comfort. This chair is also sufficiently adjustable to support me in an upright position for typing or in a reclining position for relaxing. Try it!
It's comfortable but after sitting on it for a long while I feel my butt is kept sinking toward the back of the chair. The chair has this funny slope on the back of the seating pad that it makes your legs raised up a little bit while your behind is being pulled toward the back of the chair. The mesh is comfortable but the back-curved seating pad makes it uncomfortable and unnatural for your body's sitting posture in the long run. I end up not using it and went back to my old chair that has flat seating pad.
Just bought I am a big guy 6 1 Medium built 245 ( not round ) The point is that this Headrest should be adjustable so that it doesn't sit behind my neck. This chair is suitable for someone shorter and not a large frame as myself. I liked that it was cool and stirdy but the headrest is the reason why I was attracted to it. Big let down..
I've needed a replacement chair for my home office for quite some time now. Recent back/neck/arm pain finally got me motivated to make the purchase. I knew I needed something with more support than I've had in years past but I never saw something affordable. When I saw this chair at half the regular price I went to the local store to check it out. Honestly it didn't feel all that comfortable in the store but since most of the reviews I'd read were positive I figured I'd get used to it at some point. (plus I needed support more than comfort). After getting it home and a fairly simple assembly process it didn't take much more than a day for me to realize I made a wise choice. I'm surprised at how I like the mesh fabric as much as I do. I also appreciate the neck/headrest when I lean back. There were enough ways to adjust this chair to fit my needs. I've had the chair 30 days and have even had some improvement in the neck/arm pain! I know the improved posture has helped. I'd certainly buy this again.
I purchased this chair because it has a mesh back and seat and it looked to be completely adjustable. As it turns out it is only adjustable in three ways the seat goes up and down the arms go up and down and the back will tilt. The lumbar support is not adjustable and the headrest does not move up and down. Because of this I can not get this chair to fit me properly. The headrest is too low for me and I am only 5'-11" tall. Adjusting the back tilt is also a non-intuitive maneuver. You will probably need to read the manual to figure it out. The chair looks nice and it is comfortable to sit in if you can get used to it. It appears to be built sturdily so I expect it to last well. It is definitely cool because of the mesh and that is nice!
