This is a great chair for those that sit at their desk for long hours! Comfortable seat and black- both kind of conform to your body shape and movements. The back is flexible so you can push back and put your feet up or if you want it to support your back straight up- it does both! I do have to put a blanket or towel down at the end of the chair if I'm wearing shorts just because of where the mesh and the seat meet is kind of rough on the legs. I bought this chair because I was having back and sore muscles with my old chair- and now not anymore because of this chair!
I have road tested this chair and find that it has support in all the right places is cool and comfortable to sit in and adjusts to many different positions with one exception. the head rest does NOT adjust up and down for taller people. While it does swivel front to back that is not enough to rest one's head comfortably while leaning back for a quick break from the desk. It rolls smoothly around on the floor or on a chair mat. It rolls smoothly enough that you can adjust the wheels so that the legs can be out of your way with just a little bit of heel action one way or the other. Over all I would highly recommend this chair especially if you accompany it with a decent sized hard floor mat if you have carpeting on your office floor.
We purchased the Hyken Technical Mesh Task Chair about 2 months ago to replace our large leather chair. It is just about the perfect chair for my husband and I. The mesh back and seat are comfy. The straight back and headrest make me sit up a bit straighter. Though I can also lean back and put my feet on my desk and relax when on the phone and that position is also very comfortable. The only downside I find it that reaching your fingertips under the front of the chair there are a couple of very sharp metal cornors. Not a place I would normally put my hands so hasn't really been a problem. Would wholeheartedly recommend the chair.
Excellent for lumbar spine support. Reasonable and effective. Can be a bit difficult to assemble though. Overall very good chair for people looking for lumber spine support. Thanks NBADOLA
awesome chair. love it. only the arm handles rattle a little which can be annoying if you move your arms alot not the case with me though so I am happy
Chair was very easy to put together. All parts labeled clearly and it only took about six steps to finish. Mesh seat back and headrest are extremely cool and comfortable. Base construction is solid. Hardware is also very good quality. Using the chair on carpet and rollers still allow fairly good movements. Chair has great adjustability allowing for adjustment of many parameters you wouldn't expect. You can even adjust the width of the armrests. The neck support is a nice feature that I have grown to love.
I bought this chair for work since I'm sitting at a desk about 8 hours a day. The first thing I noticed was that the material provides support for lumbar and seat cushion (meaning my butt doesn't feel completely flat as a board after sitting a long time). It's much cooler as well since the mesh allows for breathability (perfect for this incredibly humid weather we've been having.) I actually detached the armrest since it doesn't fold or move out of the way and sits right where my desk is which prevents me from scooting all the way under my desk as I prefer. Plus I've heard that using armrests can lead to carpel tunnel so they are sitting in the bottom drawer at the ready should I choose to reattach them. The headrest has been pretty much useless as I am never leaning back in the chair but a great feature to have. Overall I'm in love with this chair and glad I chose this one over the OD one that is double in price or a Herman Miller for 4-5 times more.
