I purchased this chair to replace another chair that I had for many years. I have a bad back and neck and this chair supports me perfectly. I can lock the backer in a specific position while I am working on the computer with spreadsheets e-mails or word processing. And when I am done working and want to browse the web or play a few card games or read my favorite newspaper I release the upright backer and I can recline and have my back neck and head fully supported. It is very comfortable in this position. My only negative comment is the seat should be cushioned at least a little bit. For me this was an excellent purchase.
I was hesitant but my wife bought it and brought it home to replace my office chair that would no longer stay raised up. Easy to put together and very comfy. I like to raise my chair high so my elbows are above my desk for typing and this chair is perfect. You can easily recline and watch a movie and fall asleep. For the price you can't beat it.
Perfect chair for doing office work at my desk for any number of hours. It has a straight back with curved lumbar support and head rest. Chair leans back comfortably while maintaining its strength. The seat is very comfortable. This is the best office chair I've ever had...and I've had many over my professional career.
Really liked this chair and had very high hopes for it when I FIRST bought it. While putting together the mesh BACK portion on the edges were scuffed from packing and ripping/separating already. (at that point I knew I had made a bad buy but gave it a chance!) Took JUST the BACK portion back to staples no problem and swapped out another BACK to finish putting together. Bought Square Trade for $30 while there in case after a year or so totally fall apart. (still have to deal with that refund if possible) Wellllll... it fell apart within 2 months! I kind of figured it would anyways. The SEAT this time. On the side edges where the mesh rolls into the plastic edge of the chair. Starts FRAYING ripping and then ultimately the entire seat sags... be warned there are metal parts etc directly under that mesh. any further or one more sit down and you WILL GET HURT DOWN THERE! SO immediately took back no problems refunded my cash. If one was to accidentally CUT a slit down the middle of these type of mesh chairs they become useless. But this chair failed from just getting up and down repeatedly during the day. The headrest was fine you have to pivot it to what you like...it was a concern of being uncomfortable. The seat sits directly straight up..uncomfortable. You have to use the lever under seat to set it to lean back some..and also to disable reclining etc. the arm rests are adjustable for making sliding under desk for more office room was nice. The lumbar was nice...but that was obviously needed for some sort of support there anyways. overall really liked this new kind of seating but it just isn't any good for prime time at all... the $600 version may be...but not risking that one either. The mesh BACK only chairs may be fine...but the MESH SEAT...no. Hope this helps! ; ) Might check out the TEMPERPEDIC overpriced chairs. The seats cushions in all the other office chairs only last less than year before they flatten out and your bottom hurts. get the SQUARE TRADE so when that happens you can get a NEW chair...kinda like free lifetime brakes for your car!
Good chair cool and comfortable easy to assemble. The lumbar back support is great as is the headrest. Seems to be well made (in China of course). Store was out of stock but a Staples rep in Washington State did a super job of getting me two chairs in three days over the phone delivered to my door.
