Staples Hyken Mesh Chair

Recently purchased the Staples Hyken Technical Mesh Task Chair. Love the lumbar back support and the breathable mesh...very comfortable especially in hot weather. Only complaint on the chair is that the head rest does not raise enough to avoid hitting the shoulder blades of someone 6 feet or taller. It has a tilt feature and if I raise it to the max and tilt it back the max there is less headrest pushing on my shoulders. I'll have to try it without the headrest to see if that is worth it.
I needed a home office chair after using a regular chair at my computer for years. I saw the Hyken (on sale) at Staples and I got one. It was easy to assemble with the allen wrench supplied with the chair. I must confess that while working when I need a brief power-nap - this chair is great. The Head support and ability to lean back in the chair is the most comfortable posture I've ever had in a chair. The ergonomic adjustments are easy to figure out and use. When I wanted a good chair to set up for a computer workstation for my kids homework (good posture means good study habits) I was happy the Hyken was on sale again and I swooped in and got another one. The kids love it too - so we're all hapy.
I bought this for 2 features: ability to adjust the height sufficiently (I'm 5'4") to make computer use ergonomically acceptable and solid support for my decrepit lower back. Although for some reason most desk chairs seem to be sized for men this one adjusts enough to work for me. It also keeps me sitting up straight a major improvement over its predecessor.
I purchased this chair during the back-to-school sale in late August. The substantial discount for the sale reduced the price to about $130. The box was relatively compact and fit easily in my tiny hatchback though I did have to fold down the back seats. Assembly was easy enough though a few of the screws were difficult to get tightened all the way. The chair functions well; the seat is comfortable the lumbar support and headrest supportive the arms adjustable to a good degree the mesh cooling. I particularly like the Tilt Lock which allows me to recline if I wish but prevents it if I don't. All in all it's a nice chair particularly at the sale price!
