The mesh seat and back are the only good points of the chair. It is not very comfortable and the head rest is not configured correctly. At least the headrest can be removed. The seat bottom is too short. Seems like the chair is made for people 5'-6" or smaller.
I bought this seat because it was mesh. That part is great. It's very comfortable and supportive. The only flaw in the design is the headrest. While the ability to tilt the headrest is nice it does not adjust up and down by more than an inch or so and consequently hits me in the shoulder. If I adjust the headrest back to not hit me in the shoulder then I do not find the headrest functional because it is positioned looking at the ceiling.
Purchased after trying demo in store. Seemed very comfortable. After using the unit for a few days (did not open it for a while) I found that there was a lot of pressure on my thighs. After an hour of so they began to ache. I feel that the arc of the seat is too extreme. I like the quality of the product and the adjustments provided in the design. However it is not the most comfortable chair for me. I liked my old worn out pretend leather chair much better (May it rest in peaces).
After trying out one we just ordered five more of these for our office. Out of all the ergonomic chairs we've sat in these are the most comfortable! Great lumbar support holds your body well whether you're sitting up or leaning back (these really are so incredibly comfortable when you need a moment to lean back - leans to just the right angle) headrest is positioned well arms adjust to good heights casters are smooth. This chair fits our many different body types and everyone agrees that this is the best. For the price you just can't beat it. I assembled all six of them. By the 3rd or 4th I had gotten to where I could assemble one in 20 minutes. The hardest part is that some of the screw holes are tight and take some elbow grease to screw in but all six came with all their parts and fit together just right. We are very pleased!
