I've been through three chairs in the last year. Comfortable chairs when sitting is as important as comfortable shoes when standing and the Hyken chair has fit my need well above the previous three I had tried. The headrest is nearly a pillow under my neck when I recline back for brief moments of respite between bouts of deskwork.
I've purchased three of these in recent years. I have back problems and spend a lot of time in front of a computer. Different people need different chairs - this one conforms to me perfectly and is very comfortable to use both upright and reclined. The mesh is supportive stays clean comfortable and seems durable to me. Solid construction though the screw-in bolts can be difficult to get in sometimes.
I suffer from back pain especially when seated for long periods. I purchased a much more expensive name brand chair for work that is great on my back and I have almost no pain. I purchased this chair from Staples for working at home. This chair is OK--I still have minor pain when sitting in it for a while but it is much better than other less expensive office chairs that I have tried. It's an acceptable substitute for the price.
Been using it for a week and so far so good. Thought that the color would be a bit darker (it's a combination of red and black fiber and the red ones are pretty bright but from far away the whole thing does look like the pictures). Delivery was fast and assembly relatively easy.
I purchased this chair for myself years ago. During a recent re-model of our offices my chair disappeared. I missed it so much I purchased another one.
I've had this chair 3 weeks today the left arm rest came off. When looking at how it broke it appears the the 4 screws were over tightened at the factory. I thought i was buying a quality chair but now very concerned about the overall quality of this chair.
Very comfortable when sitting for shorter amounts of time (say one hour or maybe a little more). But if you’ve got a big project and a tight deadline and you need to be in place for hours without much of a break the seat on this chair becomes excruciating. Avoid if you have pelvic floor issues.
