purchased it because I had a lot of lower back pain with the old chair. Very comfortable and great back support. Was easy to assemble would definitely recommend!
I run a business from home. Recently we moved our primary focus to offering services online. As a result I find myself in a chair more often than before sometimes 8-10 hours per day. Though I take stretch breaks regularly the old chair I had did not make this prolonged sitting comfortable. The Hyken is a decent low-end chair that helps support proper posture. Like most office chairs the height is adjustable and it has an arm to enable/disable reclining as well as movable armrests. One of the chairs better features is the ability to change the resistance of the recline. This function means I can set the tension to a level that allows me to recline just the amount I want to but still have support and be able to work. The only drawback about this chair in my opinion is the headrest. It is oddly placed and I removed it. To be fair I'm not a fan of headrests on chairs. Something else others may not find ideal but that I prefer is a lack of a traditional cushion in favor of a mesh seat and backing. The mesh is very supportive but may not be ideal for people who like soft cushy chairs. Due to my content with this chair and the delivery I ordered two desks from Staples as well and hope to have equal satisfaction with them.
