I got the Hyken Pro, it is absolutely wonderful. I went to the store to try multiple of their display chairs and this one provided instant relief for not only my upper back but also my lumbar area. I loved the fact the arms, lumbar and head rest are adjustable. I took it home to assemble, took maybe 30 mins it’s super simple to put together. My prior office chair was a Razer Iskur that I gave to my husband, that in itself was a decent chair but not for someone who was 4’11” like myself. I accidentally played a game session with friends for 10hrs and didn’t feel any pain or fatigue with this chair, it’s definitely built for long term use. I was able to recline with ease and lock it in place, which is a giant bonus for me(most chairs don’t let you lock in the reclined position) My cat certainly enjoyed the fact she could curl up in my lap and sleep, something we couldn’t do with the Razer Iskur chair. Overall if you’re looking for something that reclines, is adjustable via the arm rests, head rest, and lumbar area that you can also use for 10+ hrs a day this is definitely the chair to get. But I also recommend going to the physical store and just trying out their displays to get the perfect chair for yourself!
My new chair is very modern and is comfortable especially since I am 88 yrs old and cannot sit too long. The wire back, seat and head rest design allows the chair to be lighter than older models. The wheels are easy to slide the chair around and it fits neath the computer table nicely.
Got this all assembled and I can't get the seat and back to an upright position. Both are tilted back in the most upright position like it is a recliner not an office chair. In order to use my keyboard, I have to sit on the edge of the seat. Returning it.
The hyken xl is nearly the perfect "budget" office chair, its mostly plastic construction but it feels strong, the seat incredible, its a good width, very well cushioned and the coil springs means it'll probably never flatten.
The arm resets are fairly large but well adjustable, they don't rattle or move a bunch like other chairs ive tried.
But then we get to the deal breaker.. the back on this thing is so reclined even in its most upward position its borderline unusable.
If they ever do a revision and push the upper part of the backrest forward just the tiniest bit this chair will be the big and tall answer
I purchased this chair for my 6’4” husband who was having back pain when sitting for long meetings. The chair offers such great support that he says he can get up pain free afterwards. And the head rest is an additional benefit to reduce neck and shoulder fatigue. Highly recommend!
