Bought this for my daughter's room - was pretty easy to put together and she's now doing homework at her desk instead of in her bed which I always hated.
I was so happy with this chair I got a second. My cats prefer to sit in it to the upholstered chairs available as do visitors. The chair is so comfortable and seems to help my back.
Very poorly made chair my first one the mesh on the seat broke and staples replaced it for free because I had a square trade warranty. The second one I felt like staples assembled it uneven so I drove myself crazy disassembling it and reinstalling it there is a lot of variation in how it can be assembled. There are too many hard parts on the chair that can bump into you if you change position or lean back fully in the chair without the headrest the top can hit your shoulders. The mesh sinks too much It hurt my hips and I would strain my back when I typed fast. I was unable to get a refund or a exchange on the second one because I didn't buy an additional square trade warranty and staples thought it wasn't broken anyway. They offered me the showroom floor model in exchange for mine and I took that and replaced it with mine and now a few days later the headrest screws on the one they gave me are coming off and I don't have the right screwdriver to tighten it. I ordered the carder mesh chair and am debating whether or not to keep fiddling with the the hyken or put it out with the trash.
This chair arrived quickly in excellent condition. Assembly was easy. The chair is comfortable and adjustable. I like the size of the chair it is a smaller size and doesn't knock things over when using in my work space.
