The chair is of good quality. I am about 6'2" and 250lbs. The headrest hits me in the shoulder blades. The seat is too narrow for me. Otherwise it has great airflow and feels comfortable and well built. If you are my size stay away. If you are smaller this may be a very good chair for you.

Hyken Mesh chair

Overall it is a good work chair moves easily and is generally comfortable. I have only a few reservations about it: first the seat does not have a separate control so it can be tilted forward - so if you tilt the chair back the seat goes with it and presses against the nerves in your thighs thus causing a sciatic pain in your legs. Also unlike what the booklet that comes with it says the arms do not swivel - they just go up and down - which sort of traps you in the chair if you want to spread out. And lastly the Lean back lever is stiff to operate and requires mighty strength to get it to work. Otherwise the price is right...

The chair is solid and breathes well due to the mesh. At the discounted price it is a significant bargain when compared against other similar chairs. One small detail that bothers me...There are paper tags that are meant to be kept on the chair (for warnings and care and such) that are visible through the mesh seat.Other than that the chair completely meets my expectations so far. Very happy with the purchase.

I really love this chair. If I remember to keep my neck against the headrest it keeps my back straight. The mesh seat and back are very cool. Great for a warm weather place. I like that the back tilts back independently of the seat so it does not cut circulation to my thighs. Truly excellent chair. Thank you!

Not for me

Felt supportive and comfy until I sat in it for a few hours. The low back support is very rigid. I'm 5'9" and have a long torso ... maybe it just isn't a good fit for my frame. After 3 days of back pain I've brought my old chair back in and this chair is in the corner. Need to check return policy.
