7 year warranty sold me. We will see how long it lasts. Good initial build quality. Good comfort. Bought instead of a gaming chair. For son-5’9” 150lbs but also fits me 5’8” 230lbs

Love my Hyken Mesh Task Chair

Even without the incredible sale price I paid this would still be a great value. Mesh is comfortable and helps me stay cool with long hours in front of the computer. I do not have the best neck and back so the the lumber and neck supports are clutch--I really like how simple they are without pumps of handles to fiddle with or break. Arms adjust vertically which is plenty for me but note they do not move front-back / side-to-side if that matters to you. Seat can adjust front-to-back a little bit but requires loosening and tightening bolts underneath so not easily done like some chairs--perhaps a bigger deal if sharing the chair in an office setting but fine for one user to "set it and forget it." More expensive chairs may have extra adjustments for arm rests and seats but those features are not important to me so I find this chair is perfect for my needs and am very happy with the value for the money. If you value those other adjustments you may need to spend a little more on the next level up. Oh the directions hardware and tools were well labeled and incredibly simple--Staples has made an effort to make assembling chairs easy and absolutely achieved their goal.

Too tight between arm rest. Have another manufacturer that is 6" wider. Much more comfortable

this chair is very comfortable but about 6 months after purchasing it already is losing the hydraulic hold. it slowly creeps down to the lowest height while sitting. very annoying.

Good ergonomic option for a budget price

Good: Affordable ergonomic support easy assembly rolls smoothly Bad: A tad on the heavy side headrest is useless if you are over 5’9” base is a bit narrow and short for larger people. While I have been pampered having Aeron chairs I needed something for my home office that would give me a similar experience and help avoid leg and nerve pain. I have had sciatic nerve issues for years and most chairs give me leg pain after just a former hours use. Aeron chairs have always been my saving grace at the office but at home I needed something that would suit a lower budget. Assembly was quite easy only one screw had too much thread locker on it giving me trouble. The chair seems heavy to me compared to higher end brands of similar configuration. The rollers are good in carpet and better on a mat. The height adjustment is very good allowing it to adjust to a height that ergonomically suits me. The headrest is far too low for anyone who is over 5’9” tall. I’m 6’ tall about 220lbs and built broadly. Typically I would use an Aeron size C chair. This chair fits me well enough but I’d it were a tad wider in the base and deeper it would suit me better. The arm rests are nice but being able to inward or outward adjust would be preferable. Overall I’m please with the chair especially for the price. Would buy again.
