Fantastic chair!

I am a teacher now teaching online daily and sitting at my computer due to Covid-19 restrictions. This chair supports the lumbar area as well as my neck and shoulders and forces me to sit up straight and not slouch forward or lean too far back as some other chairs seem to do. The arms are adjustable as well so I have them set at a 90 degree angle to keep my forearms and wrists stable. The mesh material keeps the chair cool and comfortable to sit in for longer periods of time. Best office chair I've ever had!
Most low to midprice chairs are made with larger people in mind -- we smaller folks (I'm 5'6") are supposed to "fit" in them but in fact we have to slide and stretch to accommodate -- which is not ergonomically healthy. Hyken is one of the few chairs that's reasonably well suited for a smaller person. The first chair I've ever had that didn't require me to stretch my shoulders to reach the armrests. Seat depth and height at lowest setting are also suitable for smaller users. Headrest so-so. It doesn't feel like a $1000 chair but it's a far cry better than most chairs in its price range. Lumbar is decent. Once it broke in I've been able to sit in it for long work days and as long as I periodically change positions and take breaks I don't develop "chair aches" as with most other chairs. Quibbles: 1) Armrests kind of hard. Solved with third party gelrests. 2) Wish there were a tilt lock position between the straightest and mid-setting.
it is light comfortable due to the mesh I dont get stuck to it like I would other materials when I wear shorts... and it doesnt appear to "take up the room"
Love the Chair!! Bought one for my home computer station. Liked it so much I bought another one to take to my work office as the chair they provided us is to uncomfortable and does not give near the back and neck support this chair provides. Have gone through at least ten office chairs at home and work and this one by far is the best I have ever had.
Since I’ve been home working and in addition doing homework at night as I’m going to school this chair has been a lifesaver. The ultimate all day comfort work and school chair. Thank you Staples.
Got this in a few days ago. To address the one big negative on it I have already removed the headrest because it is unusable. I am 5' 11" and in almost any position the headrest makes sharp contact with the tops of my shoulder blades when I sit properly against the backrest. The problem seems to be that the head rest is positioned low like a neck rest common in many ergo chairs but also well forward of the back rest like a normal head rest would be. I'm looking into 3D-printed extensions that people have designed for it but will probably just leave it off. I read the reviews beforehand and knew that this could be an issue but bought the thing anyway so I can't knock stars off for something I did to myself. Other than that though it's a fantastic chair at its price point particularly if you get one on sale. I use far more expensive chairs at work notably the Ergohuman V2 and Nightingale CXO and while this chair does not stand up to those it makes an admirable effort for being 1/5 the price. The mesh is a bit abrasive but breathes very well. Back support is acceptable the armrests are positioned well and while only adjustable for height the with is set on install and can be adjusted a bit with a 5mm allen wrench. Overall the chair is on the narrow side I think. It's quite comfortable for my 170lb self but larger individuals may want to opt for a bigger chair like the Dexley which also addresses the headrest height issue. The lockable reclining function is fantastic and feels solid which is a welcome change from many other chairs in this price range. Build quality is fantastic for the price point. For those of you deciding between this and one of those ~$100 pleather contraptions at Wal-Mart or what have you get this one. It's a night and day difference in materials and construction quality. Again it's no Aeron but it's quite solid and if nothing else it comes with a 7-year warranty. (Staples if you're reading this that warranty was the deciding factor between this and an Autonomous Myochair)
