Overall it was a good value compared to comparable chairs. The cushion is great. Easy to put together. Functions work nicely. However the wheels do not turn easily. In addition the headrest does not adjust up / down. Therefore if you’re taller than 5’8” or so the headrest may get in the way.
Very comfortable for my 5'5" medium build frame. Good back and lumbar support. Adjustable height and arms. My son and husband who are both over 6' and slender to medium frame both thought the lumbar couldn't be adjusted to fit in the right spot and that the headrest was too low. They also felt that the seat part was too close to the back of the chair. So...if you are tall and broad try another product but otherwise this chair is good. The chair wasn't hard to put together. Just need to use a lot of "elbow grease" to tighten the bolts the secure the various parts.
I have a Herman Miller Aeron chair at the office. This one does not compare but then neither does the price. Yes for the price it's fine I suppose but I doubt I can do an 8-hour day on it day after day. I can feel the metal frame eating into my thighs after a few hours. (In all fairness this is an issue that all mesh chairs share except for Herman Miller chair -- and even then in a ten-hour day....) Also what's up with the arm rests? They look totally backward to me: They extend so far to the front that they bump against the desk and the only way to rest your elbows is to lean all the way forward. I kept checking the assembly instructions in disbelief but no this is the way the chair was designed. Do they use their own product?
The chair is nice and sturdy with good back support. The seat is fine but not cushioned or filled which makes it feel light and a bit different from standard chairs. This was easy to assemble.
When I sat in the chair in the showroom it felt perfect. Setting up one at home was not difficult but you do have to pay attention. I put the seat in backwards! My fault it is labeled for front and back I just overlooked them. It is very adjustable so give your self time to try out several combinations until you get the right one. Once I got the chair in front of my work at home desk it took a few adjustments over about two days to get everything just perfect. But perfect it is. Recommend this chair very highly.
I have the same chair at work and since working from home my dining room chair was killing my back so I bought the chair a second time for home! I love it. Very comfortable chair for the money.
