Ended up upgrading the wheels to castor wheels & has been a lot better. The wheels that come with the chair are garbage. The chair is ok for the price. Wish it had the option to recline a little.
I needed a desk chair at home that was better ergonomically than the wooden chair I was using. I read good reviews of this Helen chair on Wired Magazine and the promotional price convinced me to buy it. Did not take long to assemble the chair and the instructions were well done. My only complaint is the lumbar support. I would prefer no lumbar support or support that I could move farther up the back of the chair.
Nice chair: rollers need improvement and not for tall torsos.

OK so this is a decent chair. I'm disappointed because I have a tall torso and my shoulders/back touched the headrest (so I had to remove the headrest from the chair). If I knew that the headrest would be touching my back I wouldn't have ordered the chair. Also the rollers really need to be better quality. They do not swivel/roll easy sometimes and I am on vinyl planks that look like fake hardwood (they are flat.... these rollers should not have any trouble swiveling or rolling on flat surfaces but they do sometimes so I can't imagine them working well on carpet or surfaces with any resistance). I will attempt to resolve the issue with a teflon lubricant or WD-40 to see if the swiveling improves. Overall the chair seems nice. There was a small aesthetic manufacturing defect in the chair back mesh but since it's aesthetic I'm not entirely bothered.
I love this chair. I can now lean back and rest my head when i type and brose the internet Also the lumbar support is very nice and comfortable. I highly recommend this chair.
I really wanted to like this chair. Looks great and has similar features as many other higher-end chairs. It has also been fairly comfortable. Similar to many other individuals I purchased this chair in April with working from home during the pandemic. This first chair I purchased had a large snag in the mesh seat. I returned my chair at the my local staples for a replacement. Now six months later the chair is a mess. The head rest lumbar support and the plastic cover of the back support have all broken. I have not used this chair in any extreme way (it's only an office chair) and I am pretty small (~150 lbs.). So while it has been great it is not worth the money considering the condition after only 6 months.
