Sat in a lot of chairs across a few different office stores. This chair felt both supportive and comfortable and was pleasantly half the cost of the other options. Assembly was easy a few color-coded steps and screws. And the chair felt exactly like the one at the store. When locked the position is great for lower back with an ergonomic upright posture. When unlocked it has a smooth recline and the final position is really comfortable. This chair was worth the time I spent trying not to settle for good enough. Would highly recommend this office chair for comfort support and price.
Just got it a week ago. First impression —a great chair. Easy to put together and comfortable. Like many others needs to be broken in. But right now- happy with purchase.
This is a great office chair comfortable with excellent lumbar and other support and much more adjustment possible than many other chairs. The only thing I would change (and hence 4 stars vs 5 stars) is that it would be more comfortable for me if the arm rests could go down lower than they currently do.
We are so pleased with our new Hyken chairs. My husband and I both spend a lot of time sitting at the computer so we really needed a comfortable chair to sit in. It was easy to assemble and oh so comfortable for the hours spent sitting. Thank you for making this chair. I recommend it highly.
I didn't think I'd like the headrest but when I do lean back in a conference call it's awesome. The lumbar isn't as adjustable as I'd like but at the sale pricepoint I'd be whining. Not sure how long that mesh seat will last but I'm sure it won't ablate like that bonded leather. Worth a spin!
I bought the chair twice so hopefully that explains the rating. They seem to have improved the leg design a bit but this chair is identical to the first one otherwise. I have had the original several years (I'm honestly not sure when I bought it) and appreciate the simple comfort adjustments and head rest. I am actually not replacing the original I simply needed a second office chair in another part of my house. The design improvement was regarding the black plastic pieces on top of the chair's base. On the original they are loose and sometimes pop off. The new one doesn't seem to have that problem. I consider it cosmetic and never thought much about it. It is simple practical and doesn't look bad in my offices. I would generally recommend it.
