Permanent recline, too high

I asked my workplace to buy this for me. It looked pretty good. The back angle is all wrong and is different than the picture. It has you leaning back at 30 - 45 degrees locked in the upright position. The lumbar support cannot be removed and feels like someone's knee in my back. Also, the lowest position is too high for my desk. I have my computer set up in the corner of the two desk pieces and the chair makes me bend over to set my arms on the desk.
I’m a big guy at 6’2 and 325. I’m swimming in this chair. It has nowhere close to an upright position and it’s just not a comfortable set up. If you like to be slouched back and reclined permanently it might be fine, but if you sit up straight you might as well be sitting on a stool because you’ll never touch the backrest or Lumbar support with you back…not a good option IMO. Should have kept the box and returned. Now I’m stuck with a terrible chair that never gets used…
I've had back issues and a surgery over the last 10 years or so and unfortunately this chair is not for me. Ive used it maybe 10x over the 3 weeks I've owned it and have had nothing but back aches and pains every time.
I had a chair that I finally identified as part of my back pain problem. This new chair is just what the doctor ordered. I find it looks better as well as fits better and has improved my posture and back issue.
I purchased this chair for use on my covered patio. It's VERY comfortable. This chair will replace my more expensive office chair when I move inside when the weather gets colder.
This chair is definitely good for people who are larger as there is plenty of hip room and the arms are adjustable. It raises to a good height but I wish it could go lower because I'm short. The seat is well cushioned and very comfortable for sitting long hours and there is some lumbar support. The only major issue I have is that the back of the chair is positioned too far back in a sort of reclining position. I didn't realize that it wasn't adjustable so I don't have the thoracic support needed. Also, the lumbar support bar goes down by itself and won't stay where positioned. I am forced to sit up straight and my upper back doesn't touch the chair. For that reason, I wouldn't recommend this chair.
