Feels ok Cylinder alerady going bad

Chair is a year old and about 2 months ago the cylinder started sinking. Its slowly getting worse as time goes on. Seems they used cheap cylinders in this chair and now i need to find a replacement cylinder. AS for comfort the back has give does not remain stiff upright so im always leaning back just a bit which is not what i wanted for my posture. Headrest is too low and only reaches the back of my neck.

Headrest sits low

I’m 5’10”. The headrest is pulled all the way up. Two pics one with it titled fwd and one with it tilted back. I bought it for the lumbar support and my initial use I can tell it has me sitting way more upright than my cheap fake leather office chair I’ve had for years. I’ll probably take the headrest off. The mesh feels better than a cushion. It works for what I’m currently doing.

I put it together and noticed that the mesh on the chair was cut. Would be a nice chair to have but the mesh would break eventually if I kept it like that.
