Technical Tsk Chair

This chair was comparable to the ones I had ordered for our Conference Room Crusher Operator Shack Hoist Houses and was meant to be used constantly. Good.

Not for 5'10" and Taller
on December 4, 2013

This is a small chair. I am 5'10" and had to take the head rest off as it was hitting me in the top of the shoulders even when tilted at its highest angle. This chair is narrow even with the arms assembled at their widest point. I constantly snag my holstered cellphone on the arm when I sit down and I am NOT a big person. I also wish the seat extended to the backs of the knees further than it does.

Decent Alternative to Expensive Brands
on December 4, 2013

Used to Herman Millers but couldn't afford one this time around. Needed something for 8+ hours of use a day that wouldn't be too hot here in Phoenix during the summer. It's comfortable and does have good adjustments. Only gripes - the head rest doesn't have vertical adjustment so if you're taller than 5'11" your shoulders may rub the bottom of the headrest. Other minor annoyance is the back material will "grab" or cling on your clothes causing shirts to rise up in the back.

Soooo comfy!

I work at home sitting at my computer for hours every day. Now I realize how bad my previous "ergonomic" chair was. I'm having to overcome bad habits I developed in order to compensate for that. My body is finally relaxing.

Great value

I have been looking for a new chair for some time and have tried out a number of more expensive name brand chairs and while this chair is lacking some adjustability of the name brand units it's very comfortable and sturdy. I made the determination to save almost half of the price of the chair to give up some adjustability and as of this posting I have no complaints. I use my chair at my desk while spending hours CAD drafting. While I would have liked the articulating armrests I couldn't justify the additional expense. The headrest that came with the chair sits a little low for my liking but is a nice addition when I go into slouch mode. All told I like it and am happy with the purchase.

Absolutly love this Chair

I had back surgery and my other chair at work wasn't cutting it. I went to my local Staples and sat in every chair on the floor this was my Favorite that my company wasn't going to give an arm and leg for. It took me a couple weeks to get use to the chair but I love it! It reclines great and sits all the way up and locks into place and when I say all the way up i mean all the way up! And that's what I needed due to surgery. I do have to put a memory foam seat pad in the seat from time to time. Only complaints are it came in almost two weeks late than the ETA and then it was broken had to get another one delivered took another week. Other than that I would love to get one to keep at home. LOVE THIS CHAIR!!!!!

Takes some getting used to
on November 28, 2013

This chair does not have the padding you find in a standard chair since it is made of an open-weave plastic mesh but the skeleton is supportive and comfortable. The mesh seems pretty strong too. The design is attractive the mesh keeps you cool and assembly is pretty straightforward - it even comes with a tool. I did not attach the arms because they get in the way of working on a keyboard and with my Wacom tablet. Leaving them off does not detract from the look of the chair and nobody can tell that it is supposed to have arms. When I tried out the chair at the store it felt pretty comfortable but at home it's taken some gettting used to. I would rate it reasonably comfortable and it has several adjustments which can accomodate most people's preferences. Buying it on sale was terrific!
