This chair had potential unfortunately the mesh seat could not handle the second day of use. Part of the mesh that is only stapled down under the plastic edge pulled out after only a few hours of use. This may have just been a defective poorly stapled down mesh seat but I wont bother to exchange for another one. Just dont think it can hold up the way it is designed. It was comfortable for the most part. The front plastic edge of the seat dug into my legs a little other then that very comfortable. I am about 175-180lbs and the chair is rated for at least 250lbs so that wasnt the issue. Just poorly designed. It's possible you could get one that doesnt have this issue right away but I cant see any chair holding up for years since the mesh is only stapled down around the edge.
The back piece was cracked into smaller pieces when it arrived. Staples sent a second one quickly enough but a small piece from the back of this second chair was also broken off. It was very hard to detect when I first took it out of the box and tried to check for damages. I only noticed it when trying to attach it to the seat. At that point I was 88% done putting the chair together. Given my busy schedule I decided to just keep it rather than take time to take it apart. I'm worried that the chair would not last long though.
I am very pleased with my chair. It gives me the support I was looking for. The assembly was simple it took about 30 min. But the thing that sold is the comfort the lumbar support is adjustable and not only feels good but helps your posture. Hands down one of the most comfortable chairs I've ever sat on.
I bought this chair to replace my old and broken office chair. I tried sitting in one at the store and it felt good but getting it home and sitting in it for more than 15 minutes at a stretch is not possible. There seems to be pressure points that make my legs go to sleep. So if you are looking for a chair that you can sit in for extended periods to do work then keep looking.
