I was pretty excited about buying this chair but after getting it in my office and sitting on it for a short time the seat began to cut off the circulation in my legs. There is a padding strip just under the thighs that puts pressure on the back of my thighs and after only about 30 minutes my legs fall asleep. This is with the chair adjusted to have my feet touching the floor. I considered returning the chair but it offers the best lumbar support of any of the other chairs at this price point. So I got myself a short stool to raise my feet up some to take the pressure off the thighs. It works but unless lumbar support is the main feature you are looking for in a new chair I would not recommend this chair.

Great comfort!!

This office chair has full comfort. Its easy on the "bottom" and if you want to lean back in the chair you don't have to really use any effort to actually push the chair back which was a huge plus for us!. We are definitely going to buy more of these chairs for our office. The head rest is optional which is so great because if you have time to relax it's useful but me being a receptionist I can never rest i can leave the head rest off. I also seemed to notice that it is always on sale! Its so comfortable I love it!

Fairly comfortable for the price

The Hyken chair is one of the cheapest fully mesh office chairs you can buy which makes it a pretty popular option (and it can often be found marked down to around $120 if you are patient). It offers a few adjustments and pretty decent comfort for the price. The lumbar clicks up and down a little bit (but not in and out) so you can position it on your back. The head (neck) rest is probably too short for anyone around 5'10" and over but the good news is you can just choose not to attach it (2 screws). The armrests have up-down adjustments as well but were too high even in the lowest setting to fit under my desk so I took them off. Overall the quality of the chair is a little low (poorly packaged fitment is a little low quality when assembling) but considering the number of other options for a full mesh (seat included) chair in this price range I guess you can't go wrong but don't expect it to compete in terms of comfort or quality with the higher-end chairs.

Best Office Chair Ever!

We have owned many chairs for our in-home business but this is the absolute most comfortable most adjustable chair we have ever owned! The mesh seat is surprisingly more supportive than the 'big executive' style chairs we have purchased in the past. The headrest makes this chair even more comfortable - especially at those moments you need to just sit back and figure out your next big move! I am 5'3" and my husband is 6' - the lumbar is adjustable so both of us are very comfortable. You can also adjust the 'back and forth' of the back of the seat - a real comfort adjuster for me! Be comfortable and Make More Happen!

Great Chair

This chair is very comfortable and easy to adjust. At the end of the day my back and legs are not tired and/or hurting. I opted to not put the head rest on and I think the chair looks better (I felt I didn't need the head rest at work). I cannot comment on how easy or difficult it was to put the chair together as I didn't put it together (our wonderful handyman at work did but he did put it together in a fraction of the time it would have taken me). I let my co-worker try out the chair as she is looking for a replacement chair for her office and she really liked it. I think this chair is a great deal it is cheaper than many other full mesh chairs and it is sturdy and feels great. I would definitely recommend it.

If you are doing this yourself it's not so difficult to assemble. Instructions are easy and well matched. I prefer mesh over any other synthetic materials consequently good aeration.I would rated 5 but I am not certain of the life span of the mesh.

Tech Mesh Chair

This chair is the most comfortable chair I've owned. I sit for hours so I needed a comfortable chair and the sale price was a unbelievable. I couldn't have been able to afford this chair if it wasn't for the sale and mesh is definitely the way to go! The chair is made solid don't have to worry about tipping over. I am very happy with it so glad I didn't rush into buying something else the timing was perfect. Staples had the best selection and pricing on chairs. If you are in the market to buy I highly recommend you first check with Staples.

One of my best investments

For those of us who have to do work in a seated position the chair we spent those work-hours in is one of the easiest to overlook and most important NOT to overlook. This Hyken Mesh chair was one of my pricier investments as far as chairs go. As someone who is respected for his opinions in the functional sports med field ergonomics is a major consideration to me when I think of optimal performance. This chair coaxes your body into preserving the cervical & lumbar curves while allowing you to sit upright or recline comfortably. The adjustable height and armrests make working comfortable and the mesh seat & back allow me to do work without overheating as I sometimes tend to run hot.
